Yes mr2258, Bush certainly is "a great leader" and I''m sure McCain will be even better.

Guess we can save some money. I will send you a hammer with a note attached: Hit mr2258 on the head numerous times. You will do the rest.
That must be what is like being a conservative :) - Reply to this comment
- mr2258, peace IS found at the other side of war. Who is to say thw war for the US cannot end now? Bush? McCain? Me? My neighbor? No, it must be McCain, because he got in line behind the Commander in Chief, and why change a tired, old story line? If the surge is working, the war is being won, and it''s time to exit before Bush/McCain find another new way to extend this. We''re over there, let''s shift to Afghanistan, clean it up again, and come back home so we can afford to fix our AILING NATIONAL BRIDGE SYSTEM. Unless you''d like to be part of the next collapse.

If you are in Ohio and voted for Bush both times your shame should at least keep you home this November 4th. - Reply to this comment

- McCain has found a way to make statements that allow him to be correct, whether American deaths are increasing or decreasing in Iraq. As another poster put it, he''s still debating himself.

No, he is serious. That is the sad part.
He spends the rest of the time posting NRA junk. I think perhaps he was shot in the head at some point, and the NRA gives him a stipend to work for them. - Reply to this comment

So much for Mr. Mccains saying his campaign would run on the high ground . He has run commercials equating obama with a false messiah .He has run commercials equating him with two white girls (paris and brittney ,nice imagery there ) .He has accused obama of trying to lose "the war" to win election. He had commercials early in his campaign with obama''s picture on the dollar bill ,then when obama says I dont look like the presidents on the dollar bill accused him of "playing the race card" ... errrrr reach in your wallet , pull out a one , pull out a five, does obama look like those guys?. I would tell you pull out a 20 but a man is lucky to have one of those after 8 years of Bush and 14 yrs of failed republican policy .It just shows Johgn Mcccain would run over his mother to win the election ."Straight Talk Express"? thats an oxymoron coming from Mccain.- Reply to this comment
- jimfinsters? the over 4,000 dead american troops are losers, of life, of a future, and of their families, and to what purpose has their losing their lives served? In what way has the loss of these young people made the US better? Tragically, it has not....I hope the George Bush can sleep at night knowing that he has sent young Americans to a pointless death........

Exactly. While I honor their service, they were used in a dishonorable way by a fool and a liar. They have lost their lives, and no amount of conservative lies can change that. - Reply to this comment
- I like McCain. He''s generally been a reasonable politician (not an extremist). However, his strategy of claiming Obama wants to lose the Iraq war by pulling troops out is more shallow than a wading pool. If McCain is elected, he will begin making claims of victory in Iraq and start pulling troops. He can''t lose on the Iraq war issue because he makes claims that allow himself to always be right, based on his decision in the moment.

- It''s too bad the Vietnamese didn''t keep Gramps McSame and turn him into a Manchurian candidate. Come to think of it, maybe they did. How do we really know McSame is really McSame, or a cleverly disguised, wrinkled, old white-haired dude?!

- What does McCain mean Obama is willing to lose the war in Irag? I thought McCain said we won the war. we have succeeded, he said.
Does this mean that McCain hasn''t finished debating with himself yet? - Reply to this comment
- What thunder? Obama wanted to bring the troops home as losers. For him to take any credit. What a piece of *****.

- I like the Kucinich idea of preventing U.S. based oil companies from development of and investment in petroleum resources of Iraq.
I''m sure It won''t be a problem since we didn''t invade for the oil, right?
It was about the freedom or the WMD or something. - Reply to this comment
