Senator John McCain%u2019s presidential campaign said Thursday that it would return all the contributions solicited for it by the Jordanian business partner of a prominent Florida fund-raiser for Mr. McCain.

For the McCain camp, the decision caps a queasy two days in which news accounts scrutinized a cluster of more than $50,000 in unusual contributions from a single extended family of Californians, the Abdullahs, and several of their friends.

Contrary to Republican advertisement, no one (and I do mean NO ONE) in either party has developed a strategy purposely intended to lose IRaq to.......well I guess to Iran, because the Iraqi''s certainly weren''tgoingto lose their country to a few thousand "AL Quaeda in Iraq" insurgents.

They made peace with the Mahdi. There aren''t enough Sunni''s in the country anymore to be our puppet.

I don''t get who we lose to. Iran has more influence there because of the invasion (only the Sunni Saddamites were holding the Shia majority off before).

Iraq is not WWII. My dad fought in WWII and does not support the decision to go to or stay in Iraq. You think he is a traitor?? And by the way, he supports Obama.

(CBS/ AP) Iraq and the U.S. are near an agreement on all American combat troops leaving Iraq by October 2010, with the last soldiers out three years after that, two Iraqi officials told The Associated Press on Thursday. U.S. officials, however, insisted no dates had been agreed.

This is a LAUGHABLE article and comments from McSame, especially given we are nearing a deal to pull out ANYWAY, per CBS, so what the frack does it matter what Obama wants to do? by 2010 we may be out ANYWAY:
