How can you believe the ad backfired? It has set Obama back on his heels; Obama is doing little but trying to defend himself. Actually, T. Boone Pickens has reviewed both Senator Obama and Senator McCain''''s plans and he states that he is encourage by the Senator Obama''''s plan the most, not the other way around as someone has stated earlier. Let''''s not get it twisted. If you need to hear it from Mr. Pickens himself, go the the CNN Larry King Show archieves. He did the entire hour with him regarding his energy plan.

I think you are twisting it. Pickens was on Larry King (I saw it) to pomote his own plan no one elses. He''s spending billions of dollars of him own money on it and asks everyone to go to pickensplan.com (not obama.com) Pickens may have answered that he was "encouraged"; that''s a politically correct way of saying "thanks but no thanks" without hurting someones feelings -- definitely not an endorsement of someone elses plan. - As far as all the negative commentary regarding Ms. Hilton''s ad, it speaks volumes about John McCain for using the Hilton''s daughter as a pawn for his personal gain. Let''s face it. John McCain''s ad BACKFIRED! The Hiltons didn''t like it and I doubt if the McCain''s campaign embraced theirs. Nothing positive has come out of either one.

It''s a JOKE!!! Like the way McCain was having fun in the first place....a little humor is good for any campaign. Granted...she lives to talked about...good or bad, but in this case...she''s really just taking the opportunity presented to her to have some fun. The Paris ad was just meant to be funny. She was put up to it by a comedy group. I give her a lot of credit for laughing the whole deal off. It also gave her an opportunity to be on TV. Win - win...no hard feelings. - Reply to this comment
