Jeffrey S. Porter, of the Utah-based 142nd Military Intelligence Battalion, wrote an Obama-smearing "that guy hates the troops" screed the other day. Of course, his email got picked up by all the best right wing sites--it was ready-made for viral dissemination--and signed, "In service, CPT Jeffrey S. Porter, Battle Captain, TF Wasatch, American Soldier (married and father of 6 children)".

Now, after the Captain''s note (and probably his service file?) was punched full of more holes than a post-SINKEX Spruance, the hapless Captain Porter is now saying something very different:

"I am writing this to ask that you delete my e-mail and not forward it, after checking my sources some of the information that was put out in my e-mail was wrong. This e-mail was meant only for my family. Please respect my wishes and delete the e-mail and if there are any blogs you have my e-mail portrayed on I would ask if you would take it down too.%u201D

That may not satisfy critics. But conservatives don''t have many options. They can vote for Bob Barr, running as a Libertarian, or they can stay home. Apparently, the campaign is hoping that even anti-immigration conservatives, facing a Barack ObamaWhite House, will pull for McCain.***** I''d much rather Obama, than Amnesty Mccain!

Exactly. If he had MORE years of experience in Congress like McCain, then he could participate in some graft and corruption. For example, the Keating Five.

Posted by jimfinster

of the Keating 5, 4 were democrats. McCain and Glenn were acquitted of all charges. So unless your debate is about someone still being guilty after being proven innocent, your arguement doesn''''''''t hold water.

OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder. Was he guilty?

according to a jury of his peers, no.

Eisenhower, oh yeah, the president that was behind the assassination of Patrice Lumumba of the Congo DRC, also responsible for giving his stamp of approval to CIA Dr. Henry Kissinger to provide a safe haven for ex-WWII Japanese and Nazi war criminals and the adoption of Memorandum 200, a plan to create a synthetic virus that is resistant to natural immunities HIV/AIDS.

Also the same president responsible for the assassination attempt on all supposed-enemies, e.g. Castro, etc. of the United states, meaning all leaders that sought to sanction United States hegemony over their resources.

Kennedy, oh yes, the president with mob connections, that reportedly strong-armed voters into voting for Kennedy with threats and intimidations, for "Mob favors" ties to Sam Giancconia.

And frankly you''''re full of bull *****...the most successful decade you have had there was a republican congress the greater part of it!

Give me a break! And stop the BULL!

Allergic to the truth? Come over the political aisle. The Democrats are not afraid of the truth. This party is populated by liberals who insist on facts to guide policy.

*** Why do you care so much about wether a president knows alot about US history or not??? I know very much about US History since it was my major in college, but that doesn''t qualify me to be president of the US! I''m not thrilled with Obama that much, but he is different than Bush and Amnesty Mccain, that is what I like about Obama. If you hate Obama so much, then maybe you should look in the mirror and see what a loser of a candidate you have this election. If you had a better candidate than Amnesty Mccain, maybe I would vote Republican,... However, I wouldn''t vote for Mccain if he was the last person in this country left alive! I hate amnesty Mccain!

Also, along with Eisenhower planned the assassination of foreign leaders opposed to U.S. hegemony.

Ronald Reagan, the bad-actor, turned governor, then president now what does that say about Californian and American voters.

Richard "Tricky" Nixon, the only good thing he did in his presidency was to sign more and improved environmental legislation into law.

George Bush Sr., he vetoed practically every legislation which would have improved environmental standards, and don''t mention his duffus son, George W.Bush Jr. the irrational idiot that graduated from a prestiges university with a "C", the party animal that dodged the war and during his administration has approved more governmental spending than any other president, along with a trillion dollar debt, because of this bogus war.

McCain, oh no, riding on the coattails of Cindy''s vast fortune, have read pieces of his resume by fellow poster, he doesn''t read credible.

Obama might not have to extensive experience at "fu##ing" up the country as these former presidents, so I''m willing to give him a change, and considering Americans voted for an ex-actor, president with strong mob connections, a cold-blooded murderer , an idiot, and sycophant, what more damage can Obama do that has already been done.

who wouldnt want to drill in your OWN country and keep trillions of dollars in your own backyard to give jobs to U.S. Citizens?

The facts don''t support your point.
----------
United States - By Tom Doggett

WASHINGTON3 (Reuters) - While the U.S. oil industry want access to more federal lands to help reduce reliance on foreign suppliers, American-based companies are shipping record amounts of gasoline and diesel fuel to other countries.

A record 1.6 million barrels a day in U.S. refined petroleum products were exported during the first four months of this year, up 33 percent from 1.2 million barrels a day over the same period in 2007. Shipments this February topped 1.8 million barrels a day for the first time during any month, according to final numbers from the Energy Department.

The surge in exports appears to contradict the pleas from the U.S. oil industry and the Bush administration for Congress to open more offshore waters and Alaska''''s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling.

Oil companies will simply export new oil for higher prices on the world market to make more profits.

What''''''''s Obscamma got? 143 days as a JUNIOR US senator, most of which time he was building his campaign for president because HE decided he was qualified to be all these men rolled up into one, including FDR, and Abe Lincoln...not even to mention GOD! *** I don''t care what "EXPERIENCE" a candidate has! I care more about what that candidate is going to do as far as letting the upper wealthy to not get any more unfair tax breaks! I want a candidate that didn''t Co-sponsor a bill that would have given amnesty to over 12 million illegal immigrants! If Mccain is the only "experience" we have to chose from, I would rather no experience at all!

Let''''s not forget the big picture: Do you want another Republican in the White House next year? The record of the Republican incumbent for the last 8 years has been crisis after crisis of one sort or another. Lies after lies. Misery upon misery.
