- These campaign issues are really getting boring. Do they think it is the first time we have voted for a President and several other thngs? All the promises and mud slinging is just a waste of the American publics time. There isn''t anything they say that is true or a promise that will happen. We should just go vote when the time comes and forget all the bullship!!!

- How hilarious! McAdultDiaper latches onto "energy" as his theme and his "drill now!" mantra is already shown by every expert in the Nation on oil to be a deadend.
Try again Grandpa? I know, why don''t you propose we invade Czechoslovakia to fight Communism! - Reply to this comment
- Dear Citizens,
Thank you for giving America an optimistic chance. The so called American dream with genuine reach for the stars gumption is auspiciously still alive.
Our nation is great, but faces many challenges.
My candid enthusiasm to lead enabled by your heartfelt hopes and reticent prayers for better government have now joined forces to meet these challenges with a bona fide different approach.
Since you conclusively decided to support me during the recent election campaign, I am very pleased to accept your nomination for President of the United States.
Thank you for this altruistic opportunity to turn words into deeds. Repeatedly citizens have made me aware of their understandable hankering for reform.
Change is what you want; change is what I will deliver.
Country wide trepidations about detached uncaring national government have been understood, loud and clear. Time now for action.
I am eager to bring tangible momentum to Washington and make a positive contribution to our country by working with everyone for a less narcissistic government.
Our nation is yearning for more honorable politics, not yesteryear repeats or continuations of worn out taxation without representation themes.
As promised, my mantra is one of hope and change. Down to business actions deliverable on demand.
I look forward to starting in January 2009.
Again, thank you. - Reply to this comment
mainedoggie - That%u2019s because the democoms voted offshore drilling down for the last eight years, Now in Nov when they are gone the republicans can get it voted in to help our gas crunch.

Reality check:
If we opened restricted areas to drilling today we would not see any significant increase in domestic production for at least 5 to 10 years. By that time demand would more than swallow it up. This will not reduce the price one red cent.
I''m sorry that you are a moron.

OBAMA has created a New Energy Policy!
1. Anyone with Under Inflated Tires will be fined 200.00
2. If your car has not had a tuneup in the last year you could face up to 2 years in prison.
3. To Save Gas, there can only be 3 occupants per car, and each occupant must weigh 200 lbs or less. Fat people will have to take the Fat Bus Express.
As you can see Obama energy policies on visionary and the change Obama has been promising. Only a Marxist could get us out of the oil crisis. - Reply to this comment
- Now I understand why Barack changed his name from Christian Berry to muslim Barack. It was because the PDA BlackBerry was named after him and he did not want to be associated with it. Being a lawyer it%u2019s funny why he didn%u2019t sue them as being racist.
