They can roll together in the hay they make. In light of the fact that America is so tired and angry at the result of "Republicanism", that they would even consider electing a "Black" man, should shows that there is not much the Democrats can do that would give the Republicans any advantage, (even though they have been known to do so in past elections) the only thing the Neocon-derthals can hope for now is another catastrophic attack, claimed by some "terrorist organization" (read; CIA) in some far off country.

Even McSame''s own boy said as much, so don''t feign shock when it happens, probably beginning to middle October, early enough to swing the vote.

"...This is so urgent it must be a forceful impeachment before it''''s too late..." Posted by tapsettle

Agreed, but the logistics force us to call for civilian trials, if Bush''s term ends before the impeachment is complete, it could have the unintended consequence of forcing Congress to drop the charges, as he would no longer be a sitting president, then we would lose what handles we do have on re-establishing the rule of law and the constitution, and also any chance of recovering any money that was corrupted.

Even if Bush has to sweat it for years, I say we go after him. Because he already has substantial holdings in foreign countries, he could be considered a flight risk, and so as an accused traitor and war criminal, it could be arranged that he be held in a federal penitentiary until the outcome of the trial is confirmed, so in that case the longer the trial takes, the better.

Pat Robertson in drag. He actually has more gray matter than lars, at least he can articulate his own opinions, even if they are based on long since debunked 06''s era neocon-derthalism.

brianbwb - thanks for the heads up. I also see your point re: civilian trial, but they take forever and time is not an asset. This is so urgent it must be a forceful impeachment before it''s too late. BTW , who''s the jedi080808 who also seems to have the brains of a rocking horse?

Lars doesn''t actually have opinions, he visits extremist sites and does a cut and paste of the lies he finds there to these topics, then when he is shown to be the empty-headed death worshiper that he is, he resorts to name calling.

Just typical lars, nothing more, we are used to his BS, and only respond if he posts some drivel that merits a response.

"You can never prove what Bush really thought. He can point to faulty intelegence and just play dumb." Posted by jedi080808

Proving what he thought is not necessary, public records show that, at the time he was lying, accurate information directly refuting his false assertions was not only in his possession (the memo from the pentagon that said both Chalabi and curveball were BS, and the British intel was in reality a 10 year old theses from an Indan student studying at Berkeley), but was also public information (Hans Blix''s report as the head of the UN weapons inspectors).

Impeachable offenses also come from the use of torture, revealing the name of a CIA operative, the corruption of military suppliers and contractors, the loss of billions of unaccounted-for dollars, all these bucks stop at Bush''s office, and he cannot claim ignorance for any of them.

But, while I agree that impeachment is impractical, for time reasons, I would rather he was arrested as a civilian and tried, so that the dispositions of the many cases are not subject to the whim of corrupt and complicit, or compliant politicians still in office.

terrorislamv - you must be a wind-up merchant as you do not appear to be posting genuine opinions. Either way, I hope you do not have children as I dread to think how disruptive it would be for them to go around apologising for you all the time.

America seems gutless with this regard. Never before has there been so much evidence to warrant impeachment, never before has the world needed the US to stand up for its constitution, its honour, its people, and those dead and maimed by these executive lies and deception. Never before was there such a need for the US to fins a backbone and impeach before it is too late.

All you idiots who think Bush should be impeached make me laugh. The dems have wasted two years with stupid hearings and trials that have accomplished nothing.

You can never prove what Bush really thought. He can point to faulty intelegence and just play dumb. Unless their is a blue dress out there with a stain on it like their was for Bill, then you have nothing on him. this whole thing is all for show. Bush will be soon sitting in Texas in retirement laughing at all the dems he ran circles around with Bush Senior and the Moron Clinton and they will be talking about how they ran the world for 20 years.

All you dems say bush is so dumb but he sure has kicked your parties butt for the last 8 years in every aspect of the political game. Congress a 9 percent aproval rating. Bush''s is low but a lot higher then that.

He was right on the surge and history will prove that a friendly Iraq was the right call..

So all you Bush hatters keep dreaming.

IT WILL NEVER EVEN COME TO A VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUSH SHOULD BE IMPEACHED-- 4

Bush saw 911 not as a national disaster and failure on his watch, but a joyous opportunity to bend every rule, tell every untruth to put his hands on Iraq, as if in imitation of his father. We recall Bush, Sr. managed to wrap himself in the American flag to rescue grateful Kuwait, and none called him on the hypocrisy-- not even to remind him he was the one who kept Saddam in power, and even shipped the monster his own supply of American nerve gas to use at will against whomever he might.

So, like father, like son? Not quite-- from most appearances, Bush Sr., had lost his moral compass by degrees as the cost of doing business. But son George Bush did not even understand the questions of ethics and responsibility, in the first place.

In that respect, alone, Bush is the all-time American anti-patriot. Not content with a nondescript career, he was hungry for power in the worst way. Bush is the individual who, in November, 2005, facing an assembly of his own party members critical of his NSA spying throwing the Constitution in my face! It''''s just a GD)((#@*! piece of paper!"

he calls a "GD)((#@*! piece of paper"?

Give me a break, Bush will never be impeached because he did nothing wrong and even if he did, he isn''t as dumb as Clinton to leave a stain on a blue dress anywhere

Why are we so afraid to speak the "I" word around Bush? Clinton got impeached for lying about a BJ, after a 5 year investigation that hamstrung his administration and cost the taxpayer $70 million! We do Republicans get cut so much slack??
