FYI: The U.S. is losing superpower status every day, thanks to globalization and the outsourcing of jobs. China is slated to become the number one economic power in 20 years or so. Just in case anybody still has any delusion. - Reply to this comment

Agree with it or not, Barack Obama has articulated a plausible vision. John McCain has not. Nor has McCain come up with anything original. Instead, McCain chooses to continue George Bush''s gut-feel-figure-it-out-as-you-go-American-Cowboy approach. Lacking an original agenda, John McCain has lowered himself to taking pot shots at, and making light of Obama''s well-thought-out, well-articulated viewpoints and diplomatic engagements with heads of state.

We can believe we will change to worse, we can believe we will change America forever if we surrender to Iran. We can believe we will run scared by terrorists with our tails between our legs.

My congratulations to Obama and his campaigne on executing all the myriad of details that had to be done to make this trip a success ... flawlessly.
I include the "campaigne" because picking the right people on your team is important ... doesn''t hurt to have a candidate who also can execute flawlessly ... but it demonstrates that(barring political influence to pick people he doesn''t want) Obama''s cabinet and whitehouse staff will be at least as competent as he is. - Reply to this comment

Probably all of them are. And I suspect Obama has quite a few on his staff - which probably explains why he''s taken up the same, tired, extremist policy that guarantees no end to the Arab-Israeli conflict. It''s depressing to think that, regardless who wins in November, there won''t be any measurable shift in US policy towards Israel and its treatment of Palestinian civilians. - Reply to this comment

We have already had a child as President for far too long. I know most think you are too old and maybe that IS the case... Maybe you are at that age where you have hit your second childhood. Maybe you are getting too close to needing diapers again as you play childish games with your first "real" run for the Presidency.
I HAD respect for you before this candidacy but have lost so much as you truly have lowered your standards. Ridiculing your opponent does not endear anyone who you may want to come over to your side.

It was Obama and one of his church members on the other end damning us as Americans? 911 was done by Bin Laden in retaliation for CIA operations in Afghanistan.
More than a year and half before 911 the CIA Special Activities Division was conducting operations in Afghanistan, trying to topple the Taliban regime for the Caspian Sea Oil & Gas Pipelines...........We now call such activities terror. - Reply to this comment

Afghanistan is genocide......
There are no benefits for Americans in Afghanistan. Your tax dollars and cumulative borrowed debt to finance these operations only benefit the corporations who purchased the oil& gas rights in the Caspian Sea Basin, for the construction of the Caspian Sea Pipelines........nothing more nothing less.
