Democrat Says He'd Use "Big Sticks And Big Carrots" In Nuclear Talks
- The ignorant Obama strikes again. He acts as if diplomacy has never been tried before. Maybe he wants to practice the diplomacy of Nevile Chamberlain. For you people educated in government schools, read the events leading up to WWII. This man is a wind bag (speaking of Obama). He has no sense of world history, geography or demonstrable knowledge of American history. With 143 days experience in the US senate, he again demonstrated his lack of experience in proposing no legislation and voting "present" rather than a yay or nay on critical legislation. Lets face it voters; can we stand the inexperience at this point in world history?
One truly wonders what it takes to graduate from Harvard these days.

- No wall in history has ever protected a people from their own injustice. From the Great Wall of China, to Hadrian''''s.
In fact our salvation has always been found in justice itself, not protection from its advance."

- socon2, what I wonder is what it takes for idiots like you to realize we cannot afford 4 more years of Bush policies, which is what you get with McCain! He used to be a maverick in the Republican party, but now he''s following Bush''s lead. First he was against the Bush tax cuts, now he''s for them, First he proposed immigration reform with a path to citizenship for illegal aliens, now he said he wouldn''t vote for his own bill !
McCain makes Obama look like a fricken Genius! - Reply to this comment

Ya think?
"My whole goal in terms of having tough, serious direct diplomacy is not because I''m naive about the nature of any of these regimes."
I don''t think that there is anyone more naive than Obama. - Reply to this comment

- Barack Obama''s trip to the Middle East is already a complete and utter failure.
All sides in the Israel-Palestinian issue view him with suspicion and mistrust.
The troops in Iraq view him as a weak opportunist with no better intentions than a political photo-op to try to get himself elected.
Barack will return to the U.S. with severely damaged credibility.
Do you liberals have another choice?
You had better start thinking about it now. Not much time left for alternatives... - Reply to this comment

No matter how often we disagree, I''ll always accept a hug from you. Even if you are a dirty traitor. LOL
Seriously though, regardless of who wins (pleaseletitbeObamaplease) we''re still in this together, even with those from outside the country. Earth is just a small ball of dust in a vast universe. - Reply to this comment

- Bed time folks. No matter how often I argue with you folks, I mean absolutely no ill-will towards any of you. Our country may not be the worst there is, but it is falling apart. Will Obama be able to fix it? Will McCain? I don''t know. But whoever is elected must be held accountable.
So, we may have different views, and we may shout each other down, but we still have a responsibility. No more free rides, no more blind faith. If our president says war, ask why, if we are attacked, ask why, if the answers don''t match the questions (or the evidence), stand up and be noticed. Its far too late to fear rocking the boat. Rock away! - Reply to this comment
