I see Rowdy-the-racist-wicca is still at it.

Why do I think Rowdy is a racist?

Rowdy supposedly resides in Texas and Obama is from Illinois so it is highly doubtful that he/she knows Obama personally, yet he/she continually posts vitriolic, insulting, and obvious PERSONAL comments about him.

The ONLY logical explanation for that is that he/she is consumed with the fear that a black person (Obama) could conceivably be the next president.

I also believe that Rowdy%u2019s honesty and integrity are in question because he/she claims to be a democrat while always commenting like a devoted Bush/McCain apologist.

He/she supports republican policies over democratic policies and slams any and all democrats (except Hillary) who dare to say something good about Obama or anything bad about McCain.

That%u2019s my opinion. I leave it to everyone else to form his or her own opinions.

Rowdy''s not a democrat. Just another scared republican. They have good reason to be scared. It''s just unfortunate that they act out their fears in the worst way - by advocating those who got us into the mess we''re in in the first place.

Can America Afford a McCain First Term?

One of the common Republican criticisms directed at a potential Obama presidency is that its first two years will be marked by instability, poor management, and inexperience. But if managing an enterprise as large and politically complex as a presidential campaign is any indication of how either of these candidates will perform day one in the White House, it is McCain''s campaign, not Obama''s that should be worrying American voters.

Since announcing his candidacy last April, McCain has been unable to get control of his organization. The campaign''s messaging, strategic planning, grassroots, and fundraising operations all have been mired in disarray. Most of the mess is attributable to the candidate''s inability to establish a clear chain of command at the top and to quell infighting among senior staff, a somewhat stunning revelation when considering McCain''s stature in the Party and past experiences as a presidential contender. But while the chaotic state of McCain headquarters has become a well worn subject over the past two weeks, with a litany of Republican elected officials and strategists questioning the candidate''s chances in November, as well as mainstream media figures such as Bill Kristol and Adam Nagourney writing pieces chronicling the myriad and ongoing staffing problems, few seem focused on the more substantive issue of what all of this means for a McCain first term if he is actually elected.

With only 110 days left in the election, there is no discernible answer as to what a McCain presidency would look like, who would be the key players organizationally, where the primary policy focus would be directed, and how he would avoid the mistakes of management and judgment that have thus far pervaded his campaign. In fact, if the past year of inner circle shakeups is any proxy at all for how a first term might be run under McCain leadership, it is a disquieting reality.

Now McCain truly will know nothing about Economics but in the end the plan he has, the one drawn up by Dr. Phil, was worse than nothing. It is the same tired old garbage that Republican''''s have been trying since Hoover. Didn''''t work then doesn''''t work now. McSame should just cash in his chips and let''''s move along.

Strange, isn''t it...Obama''s insurance plan has already been debunked...and McCain''s insurance plan has been shown to be a better deal for those below poverty level! Adults as well as children!

The economy IS doing well...for some.

Hopefully, in November, these Republican fat-cat looters will learn the difference between ''whining'' and snarling.

Vote them all out of office and let the prosecutions begin!

For the 20 percent *gah-gah club* that wants to lay every Bush fiasco at the feet of the ''do nothing Congress:''

Who is Grover Norquist?

In 1999 Grover Norquist was instrumental in securing early support for then Texas Governor George W. Bush, continuing a decades-long association with Karl Rove. ("The Wall Street Journal''s John Fund dubbed him "the Grand Central Station" of conservatism and told The Nation: "It''s not disputable" that Norquist was the key to the Bush campaign''s surprising level of support from movement conservatives in 2000"). After Bush''s election to the White House in 2000, Norquist was the prime architect behind the many Bush tax-cuts.

The "Wednesday Meeting" of Norquist''s Leave Us Alone Coalition has become an important hub of conservative political organizing. George W. Bush began sending a representative to the Wednesday Meeting even before he formally announced his candidacy for president in 1999. "Now a White House aide attends each week," reported USA Today in June 2001. "Vice President Cheney sends his own representative. So do GOP congressional leaders, right-leaning think tanks, conservative advocacy groups and some like-minded K Street lobbyists. The meeting has been valuable to the White House because it is the political equivalent of one-stop shopping. By making a single pitch, the administration can generate pressure on members of Congress, calls to radio talk shows, and political buzz from dozens of grassroots organizations.

Grover%u2019s Vision:

An America in which the rich will be taxed at the same rates as the poor, where the minimum wage is repealed, unions are made irrelevant, and law-abiding citizens can pack handguns in every state and town. "My ideal citizen is the self-employed, homeschooling, IRA-owning guy with a concealed-carry permit," says Norquist. "Because that person doesn''t need the godd@mn government for anything."

Norquist is famous for saying, "I don''t want to abolish government. I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub." His plan is for the federal government to amass massive debt without increasing taxes on the rich, if the federal government is mired in huge debt it can no longer fund social programs of any kind.

Norquist Plans Conservative Agenda:

At the Conservative Political Action Conference, right-wing activist and anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist urged conservatives not to work to accomplish anything in the current Congress.

Wow. Isn''t resignation a form of whining? If he wasn''t a whiner, wouldn''t he stay and fight?

Did he, in fact, whine when he called everybody else a bunch of whiners?

What does Gramm do for a living? A matter of perspective; making a 9 or 10 digit salary, he''d see everyone else as whiners. For they only earn a 5 digit salary, therefore the costs of living mean more to them.

Elizabeth Edwards faces Stephen Colbert to stump for on behalf of the group Health Care for America Now! trying to raise the awareness of the campaign to bring affordable health care to all Americans.

Colbert: You%u2019re talking about Universal Health Care?

Edwards: Universal, meaning everybody gets health care.

Colbert: Okay, but we already have a form of universal health care, it%u2019s called prayer. Okay? Everybody can do it, and the Lord of the Universe hears all prayers, but sometimes the answer is, %u2018I%u2019m sorry, you%u2019re not covered for that.%u2019

Edwards: Right. A little too often it%u2019s %u2018you%u2019re not covered for that.%u2019 And unfortunately, there%u2019s just too many Americans who currently prayer is their only form of health care.

"This is the kind of baby talk in which Obama supporters engage. Any President of the United States who would personally send any email would be guilty of "presidential malpractice." Presidents don''''t use email. "--Posted by joe1022joe

Yes, Republican presidents like Bush have their underlings send the emails, like to the Attorney General telling him to promote only Bush supporters and to selectively prosecute Democrats.

The Bush administration knows about plausible deniability!

Bush knew nothing, absolutely nothing! It was an overzealous subordinate who trashed the Constitution.

Can''t really expect the Republican administration to take responsibility for any of their actions.

Because none of them use email

"It is clear to me that Democrats want to attack me rather than debate Senator McCain on important economic issues facing the country,"

The Democrats and in particular Obama would love to debate McCain on the important economic issues facing this country.

But first, McCain will have to decide just what his stance is on the economic issues. It is difficult to have any meaningful discussion when your opponent is changing his position on a daily basis.

McCain does indeed need to learn some computer skills. Then he could keep a log so that he could look up what he said yesterday.

McCain supports that (we) US bail out US banks for their unregulated Republicon style unfettered capitalism.

FALLING US DOLLAR = HIGH GAS PRICES

year 2000 $1 = 1.08 EURO = $1.45 gas
year 2008 $1 = .64 EURO = $4.05 gas

year 2000 US Debt $5 TRILLION
year 2008 US debt $9.7 TRILLION

Experts give McCain only a 50/50 chance of carrying his home state of Arizona.

Vote John McCain for more of the same unfettered, deregulated, unaccountable capitalism!
