- Its too bad a guy gets in trouble for telling the truth. This a country full of whiners and left-wing whimps. All those "New" Regulations being placed into effect on Lending Banks now... you know the ones that would have PREVENTED the Melt Down? The rich get richer and the present government has failed to do much of anything to help the average citizen cope with the loss of good jobs with good benefits. The present government has failed ot address helathcare issues, that is raping the average ameircan of hard earned $. More and more companies are abandoning or trying to abandon pension plans... how are we supposed ot retire ? Are we supposed ot depend on Social security.. we have already been told not to depend on it. Should we depend on our 401K plans, many of which have a very limited amount of choices and are controlled by big wallstreet institutions that always make sure they profit before the rest of us do. Should we not spend any of our wages and put everything we have in the bank.. if that the case then whats the purpose of captialism if none of us can spend any money we make.. not to mention its destroying the economy as most of us have less and less to spend.
Fact is republicans have demonstrated that they would rather give monies to the welathy in tax breaks and bailouts over investing into the country and crreating infrasturucture that prive the jobs, wages, benefits we demand back

Senator McCain keeps saying we can and need to win the War in Iraq. What I don''t hear him say is the definition of winning. He talks about the success of the military surge, but fails to say what would happen if the increased number of troops were withdrawn. How does John McCain propose to win a War that in part is ethnic violence?
