Why cannot people raise money for other things like homeless people or elderly people? WE all know the answer - it is big business and all these politicians will owe favors later on.

Yes, it''s sad that Americans don''t expect their president to have the ''view'' that corporate executives shouldn''t pay less taxes that middle class Americans. Or that we shouldn''t invade a country that didn''t attack us, just because his daddy wanted him to. Or that oil companies shouldn''t get even more obscene profits by letting them drill in environmentally fragile areas when they already have more than enough oil under existing rigs.
