John McCain "knows how to win wars". He just adopts someone else''s ideas. Look at how he''s adopted Barack''s idea for Afghanistan. The only problem McCain has with his version of Barack''s Afghanistan plan is that his troops come from a place called Fantasyland.

Obama8years,

You didn''t spend much time looking at the rasmussen polls or you would''ve noticed that the states heleads in represent 280 electoral votes, 10 more than he needs to be elected. That''s not counting Ohio where McCain''s lead is 1 point.

Media buries McCain Troubles

Last week McCain made numerous mistakes and outright lies. Any one of these would have been the TOP NEWS story for days if Obama had committed them. So where is the Media? Credit Max Bergmann for collecting these items:

McCain:
1. unambiguously called Social Security "an absolute disgrace." This is not a quote taken out of context.

2. top economic policy adviser calls Americans a bunch of "whiners" for being worried about the slumping economy.

3. gets caught in a bizarre denial and flip flop when Iraqi leaders call for a timetable for U.S. withdrawal

4. economic plan to cut the deficit has no details and is simply not believable.

5. deficit plan includes bringing the troops home represents a major Iraq flip-flop. His military rhetoric says "Stay until victory." Can''t have it both ways.

6. campaign misled about economists support. After economists approved his earlier plan, McCain changes it without their approval.

7. makes a joke about killing the Iranian people by selling them cigarettes.

8. denies, flatly, that he ever said that he is not an expert in economics. Are you kidding?

9). distorts his record on veterans benefits in response to a question from Vietnam Veteran, who then proceeds to call McCain out on it.

10.) demonstrates he knows nothing about Afghanistan and Pakistan. Claims "good news" as relationship and war deteriorates.

Why did the Media report last week that "Obama fundraising was down"?

John McCain gives DIRECT REWARDS to reporters for POSITIVE REPORTING about him. He is BUYING REPORTERS- HE IS PAYING THEM OFF.

How can you trust reporters who are paid off by McCain?

The McCain campaign recently acknowledged that seats on the new "Straight Talk" airplane are assigned to reward "positive" reporters with special access seating in the front of the plane. These seats are REWARDED TO REPORTERS WHO PROVIDE POSITIVE COVERAGE TO McCAIN. The Washington Post reports that Sen. John McCain''s new airplane %u201Cfeatures a special area%u201D where %u201CMcCain will conduct group interviews with the press.%u201D Top McCain aide Mark Salter said "Only the good reporters would get to sit in the special section. You%u2019ll have to earn it." How can reporters %u201Cearn%u201D a seat? Never challenge the Senator.

These special seats provide direct access to McCain, access denied to other reporters. "ACCESS IS MONEY." Reporters are rewarded by their bosses and employers for gaining access to candidates. More access means MORE MONEY AND MORE PROMOTIONS.

This is nothing less than FINANCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL BRIBERY TO REPORTERS THAT PROVIDE McCAIN WITH POSITIVE COVERAGE.

CBS should report daily, "WHO IS THE McCAIN CAMPAIGN REWARDING TODAY?" Report the daily seating assignments on McCain''s plane. Who got the "SPECIAL ACCESS SEATS"? Who is being punished for critical reporting and is sitting in the back of the plane?

Well, June was before FISA and most of his other flip-flops. He claimed donations were drying up - so was he lying to people or are the figures deceptive in the sense that most people are only giving like $5 and the vast majority are bundler-raised with some giving not just $2300 for the general but also the primaries (as former Hillary supporters).

Like if the DNC raised an extra $20mil through their joint fundraising, doesn''t that tend to point to the bulk of the money now coming from the bigger donors? Are they going to be tapped out in coming months?

Or are people still really psyched about Barack? :o

Raised the minimum wage for one. The farm bill for two. Could have been several more if not for the countless republican filibusters....the dems barely have the majority... this "do nothing" congress is as much the republican''s fault as the democrats. Come on now.

Last week, McCain reported raising more than $22 million in June, which was his best month of the year. Together, the McCain campaign and the Republican National Committee began July with about $95 million in the bank.

Meanwhile time after time the Senate Republicans have obstructed progress on America''s priorities:

Democrats Tried Twice to Pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform; Republicans Obstructed. 6/28/07

Democrats Tried to Pass Intelligence Authorization; Republicans Obstructed. 4/16/07

Democrats Passed War Supplemental Funding Bill With Measures to Change Direction in Iraq; President Bush Vetoed the Bill. 5/1/06

Democrats Passed a Bill to Expand Stem Cell Research; President Bush Vetoed the Bill. 6/21/07

Obama reported $72 million cash on hand and the DNC $20.3 million. But the Democrats still lag Republican John McCain''s presidential campaign and the Republican Party.

Perhaps Obama will pay the bills or perhaps they join the military and all those medical, housing and meals will be taken care of. Or do they just want that stuff paid for without the efforts?

Somebody has to pay for them, I guess it''s going to be you and I, if Obama gets elected (god forbid).....Liberal Democrats think money grows on trees to fund their socialist agenda, last time I checked we don''t live in a socialist country, otherwise it would be called the United States of France

mccain has no base in his party, and will not win over moderate voters, people will see that he is another right wing fascist, not even his black child that he had out of wedlock will vote for him.
