As a former school administrator, I found the same problem with students and their parents. It was ok for the black children to use the "n" word towards another black children. And even some black children said it was ok for some of their close white friends to use the "n" word. Their parent echoed the same rules. Well it''s either ok or it''s not ok. It''s too hard for some to know which rules apply to them or not. In my book, it''s not ok for anyone to use the "n" word. Everyone follows the same respectful rules. (and I''m white) How can we expect our children to know what is wrong and right when we give them mixed signals. No wonder we have racial issues here.

Remember it is ok for black folks to use the N word...whites are not allowed to use that word!

I had a hard time accepting this, thinking that what is bad for one must be bad for all.

Rowdy, in an earlier post on this board, gave an explanation that showed it in a totally new light.

Rowdy said that it is the same as male friends of her acquaintance calling her "sweetie" or "honey", etc., when the same remark from a stranger would be totally offensive. She''s totally right--the analogy holds up.

The use of his middle name to try to vilify Obama, shows just how childish the right actually is. Not everyone shares your bigotry.

What''s the old adage? You can''t con an honest man.

Now that the "political correctness" farce has been exposed for what it is(social cowardice), when do we stop allowing bad behavior or lifestyle to be classified as minority status?

I am not concerned he is young and inexperienced. He has totally ignored questiions about his associatins with the church, radicals, racists, Muslim affiliations, and known mobsters. If he had answered these questions i would be less apprehensive. I am concerned about what he is not saying.

I hope you are right if obamamis elected, but what if he is elected and i am right ?

Obama may be new and inexperienced but this may be the perfect time to try someone new and inexperienced because America is sitting at rock bottom right now, Obama can''t take us down any further than Bush already has and the only way to go is up! Pelosi is right, Bush has failed in every category and if he objects let him explain where he has been successful, its not enough for Bush to say Pelosi is wrong, he needs to explain why she is wrong and he won''t be able to!

I have no problem with obama being a Muslim. I hacve met many who are honest hard working people. My problem is if he plans to sell us out to the terrorists. I have no problem with his being black. I do have a problem with his appearing to be a racist to me. I guess where i sarted questioning him was at the start. Something that sounds too good to be true usually is.

Obama has a few negatives but they don''t look as bad when compared to the negatives of his competition, they only look bad when look at by themselves! Obama is really starting to look like the lesser evil even though I will suffer under his Tax increases so I''m not thrilled about Obama in the least strictly from a money point of view, I like Obama but only up to a point!

Thats nonsense, the U.S. Constitution protects Americans rights to speak freely, people from any culture can use any word and say whatever they want! But like someone Posted earlier, you are responsible for what you say and do and must suffer the consequences of your expression and actions! You are free to tell your Boss to go to Hell too, you may not have a job after you do, but you are still free to say it! Common sense is not too common. Many people take things literally without keeping their wits about them.

Even if this were true, so what! There is nothing wrong with being a moderate Muslim even if Obama were a Muslim right now. Your point is meaningless unless you subscribe to the notion there is something wrong with being a Muslim.

All you Muslim haters need to study American History, the United States was created escaping Religious persecution in England, created to express Religious freedoms! This Muslim hatred and Muslim bashing flys in the face of what America was created for and what America is all about! Talk about not remembering where you came from!

Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks, wife of the hateful Rev. Meeks.

For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on "whitey", and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that''s when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who''s seen this.

''My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you''ll join with
me as we try to change it.''

- Barack Obama

................................

He was registered under the name of Barry Soetoro, serial number 203. School documents list Barry Soetoro as an Indonesian citizen and his religion was listed as Islam.
His third grade teacher, Fermina Katarina Sinaga, now 67, asked her class to write an essay titled "My dream: What I want to be in the future." Obama wrote "I want to be a President," she said.

All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school and a young Barry Soetoro, being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school.

He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.

In his autobiography, "Dreams From My Father," Obama mentions studying the Quran and describes the public school as "a Muslim school."
The evidence seems to quite clearly show that both Ann Dunham and her husband Lolo Soetoro Mangunharjo were in fact devout Muslims themselves and they raised their son as such."

Big news folks - it looks like our efforts in contacting those Superdelegates are starting to pay off, so keep on writing to them (ok, maybe Donna B''s a waste of time). There are unconfirmed reports, based on phone banking efforts to reach out to Super Ds, that eight previously Obama SDs expressed that, given the opportunity, they would vote for Hillary at the convention.

"A large phone banking effort to the super d''s combined with Obama''s flips and poor presumptive nominee performance, etc have yielded doubts within the super delegates, enough that 3 elected and 5 DNC members have confided that should they have the opportunity to do so, they will vote for Hillary."

It''s time for Obama to go -- as Evelyn Pringle''s article title has it, "Curtain Time for Barack Obama."

And it''s time for Hillary Clinton to come back into the picture; this is her time and we are her people, precisely because we do think for ourselves. (As a friend of mine said last night to me in a telephone call, the main difference between Clinton supporters and Obama supporters is that we think for ourselves and we argue with each other.

We need Hillary R. Clinton; we need her desperately. She must come back into this race for the good of the United States of America. Otherwise, we are doomed.

Barack Obama was born of Communist activists, mentored by a communist writer and activist, spent his college days hanging around radical activists, worked as a radical community organizer learning the radical tactics of Alinsky, kept contact with radicals through the years, attends a radical church, and today lends his political skill to the international goals of radical activists, and has radicals working on for his campaign. Obama believes in Reparation payments for slavery?

Barrack Obama%u2019s pastor not only spews anti-American rhetoric from the pulpit but favors shaking down U.S. taxpayers for %u201Creparations%u201D for slavery.

After playing a video question submitted by a South Carolina (SC) citizen, CNN''s Anderson Cooper asked, "Senator Obama, [what is] your position on reparations?" Obama said,

"I think the reparation we need right here in South Carolina is investment, for example in our schools.

Finally, the most telling indication that Obama has a secret addiction to reparations is reflected in those who support him and those whom he supports: the most notorious race-baiter on the Chicago City Council, Alderwoman Dorothy Tillman.

Haven''t heard of Dorothy Tillman? You better learn about Obama''s #1 supporter. And fast. You really should know who she is. Tillman has almost single-handedly made a joke of the City of Chicago in the public finance industry over her preoccupation with slavery and reparations.

Tillman supports Obama and Obama supports Tillman.

Obama has never said he against Reparations for slavery. Never.

"Open mouth, insert foot"-that seems to be a chronic habit today among public figures. They don''t wait for their brain to engage before they speak.

But the point also still remains the remarks were private and technically FOX should have kept them private
-----------
It''s called EXPOSING A FRAUD FOR WHAT HE IS.

If you SAY IT OUT LOUD in the presence of a JOURNALIST WHO IS INTERVIEWING YOU - there is no such thing as private.
