McCain graduated from the US Naval Academy 894th in a class of 899. He wrecked five jets before they finally got rid of him. Obviously he is not the brightest bulb on the tree. He was shot down by an out-of-date Soviet missile by men with no experience in anti-aircraft warfare because he did not follow the rules of evasion taught at the Academy. Let''s just say the man has only one oar in the water.

He disses two in five people on the face of the earth by referring to all Asians as %u201CGooks.%u201D He may be viewed as a %u201Chero,%u201D but I don%u2019t think being shot down qualifies him for the job of president.

"Before Obama talks about our foreign policy he should visit Iraq and Afghanistan."

McInsane

Yeah, right! And Roosevelt should have visited France and Germany before he decided to enter WWll? I think McSame is still in Czechoslovakia.

McCain added: "I know how to win wars. And if I''m elected president, I will turn around the war in Afghanistan, just as we have turned around the war in Iraq, with a comprehensive strategy for victory."

Can he win the war in America? These foreign actions, along with huge tax giveaways to the rich in recent years, no-bid contracts to oil-companies and oil-billionaires, and indifference to the role government bureaucracies play in helping to keep America clean and safe, are 100% responsible for our economic troubles and the increasing fragility of our social fabric. There''s a war on in America, and the middle class is losing it. I don''t believe McCain has ANY plan to help us win this war.

Really???

Apparently McCain has once again lost his memory.
McCain finally admitted that Obama has been correct all along. McCain admitted we need more troops in Afghanistan and that Afghanistan is the front of the war on terror.

It''s so funny to watch McCain flip flop to the position that Obama has had since before the war in Iraq.

SAure I guess mccain figured out how to win a war the five years he was a guest at the Hanoi Hilton. Moral of the story, don''t get shot down and captured you might win a war. Wave that magic wand like bush wants to do to fix the economy. Thank you Republicans the past eight years have shown us what complete greedy morons you truly are!!

He surrendered most of his convictions and beliefs during the early stages of this campaign. He went from being a maverick to following around his master, bush and voting in lockstep with him over 95% of the time. The "unconscionable" bush tax cuts for the wealthy became necessary. Maybe he met with his wife''''s tax guys.

McBush is a sad guy who has wanted to be president for so long that he decided to sell his soul for the nomination. His desperation combined with his notorious temper make him particularly unfit for the job.

Great post, which sums it up in a nutshell. i used to think very highly of this guy, but his time passed 8 years ago; and fortunateley it appears, because he does not seem to stand for the same things at all anymore.

McBush apparently didn''t learn how to win wars at Annapolis, his finish in the bottom 1% of his class indicates there was a lot he didn''t completely grasp. His experience as a pilot who destroyed 4 or 5 planes before managing to get shot down, isn''t part of many successful war strategies. Starting an unnecessary war in Iraq diverted both attention and resources from the war on terror in Afghanistan to the mistaken war in Iraq. He, bush and 13% of the people still think that war was a good idea and that speaks volumes about his lack of judgement.

What he knows how to do well is Flip-Flop while yelling so much about your opponent detailing his positions being flip-flopping that the media goes with that story rather than his obvious inconsistencies. He even managed to flip-flop on gay marriage during the course of a commercial break in an interview.

McCain doesn''t know any more about how to win a war than he know how of avoid a missile.
He was a screwup in the Navy, and all of that screwwin'' up caught up with him one day over NVN. Gimme a break.
