You are mistaken.

- I understand WHY Paul won''t run as an Independent...because he is a TRUE Republican, a conservative...far removed from the neocons of today...and can continue to shine the light on the republicans in D.C...but still it''s disheartening to see him drop out.

Also, I think that Cynthia McKinney will be the Green Party candidate this year.
She would make and excellent President, in my opinion.- Reply to this comment

There are several other candidates that are actively running, that are not part of the Demopublican duopoly, you know.Posted by FeelFree4U"
Well, if there are other candidates, I''ve only heard about this Bob Barr fellow...or Ralph Nader...I put all my hope and effort into Ron Paul and what''s he do? He drops out! Nader did too... How does that help us? Why can''t Americans seem to be able to support a candidate with good ideas all the way to the white house if they aren''t part of the same old 2-party lie???
You seem so intelligent, please tell me how we are really going to get out of this mess? - Reply to this comment
- Remember that everything Adolf Hitler did in Nazi Germany was legal according to the laws of Germany. We have spent nearly 8 years dishonoring our troops. American troops died in the Revolutionary War to free this nation from government oppression and tyranny. Any actions we take now to water down the rights that those brave men won for us constitutes the epitome of disrespect for servicemen. If America is on the "Support Our Troops" bandwagon, don''t forget to support those troops who fought for principles when a different country was the world''s superpower.

- Civil rights groups are already preparing lawsuits challenging the bill''s constitutionality, and four suits, filed against government officials, will not be dismissed.

Exactly. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land. With that in mind, no law passed by Congress and the President can protect the telecoms. People should boycott them. - Reply to this comment

Any legislation that is passed by our Congress that is not an amendment to our Constitution, but is counter to our Constitution as is the case here, isn''t worth the paper that it is printed on.
Mr. Obama voted in favor of this bill, making it retroactively legal for the Bush regime to have illegally spied on Americans without a warrant.
That alone is more than enough to kick this Uncle Tom to the curb.
Borrowing a quote from Mr. Cheney, Obama should, "go *** himself", ASAP.
How did your Senator vote?
