says who ... you? if he made a bad decision ... should he stick w/ that? if he made a stupid decision ... one that was deemed stupid after other information came to light ... should he stick with that?
so when you make plans to go somewhere ... and something else comes up that you didn''t know of ... do you ''stick w/ your original descision'' regardless of the new information.
never a feeling of regret ... never a rumination ... never a post analysis of your choices ... and never does this color your view? - Reply to this comment
- A question for John McCain: Given your past adultery, should Americans consider you a moral exemplar of family values?

Fairly arrogant statement considering no one knows much about Obama...pace yourself...discovery is all around us... - Reply to this comment

These family pictures seem like Obama propaganda. They''re trying to make the guy look human, although we know he''s just a Democratic Party darling who is totally unqualified for the office of president.
If he wasn''t black, he wouldn''t be qualified enough to be allowed by his party to run.- Reply to this comment

It''s called learning on the fly...this is okay. I hope we don''t have to learn the ''hard way'' under Obama just exactly what is meant by national security. But even then he''ll be granted permission to plead ignorant...didn''t know better...had no previous experiences to make him think other wise...blah blah blah...and then there is the line of thought that a certain number ''casualites'' are considered par for the course in any line of defense...hang in there...he''ll get it right eventually. - Reply to this comment
- God you GOPigs are just beneath contempt. If this is all you can find to whine about while your idiot has ruined this country''s name throughout the world, you can expect a huge defeat this fall, and deservedly so.

- Typicla media ignoring past Obama statements on abortion. How about the one Where He Said: He would rather have his kids get an abortion than be "punished" with a baby. This is not the statement from a compassionate Liberal - he is ultra-liberal on abortion. The religious left and right shouldn''''t fall for him being a new Democrat. He''''s hard left. Don''''t forget those words of his. Being Punished with a Baby.

So after being married to another woman for 25 YEARS...did McCain commit adultery all those years ago or is he still committing it? I would hope all of us could find a little forgiveness and not be forever judged by our past mistakes? - Reply to this comment
- This is not the man we want to run this country. Come to think of it either is the other.

- From the above article and out of Obama''s own mouth "...Obama said he had second thoughts after seeing how much attention the interview had received. The Obamas had been keeping Malia and 7-year-old Sasha out of the media spotlight...."But generally we''ve been very protective of them. And you know, in retrospect, I think, you know, if you''d ask me, we probably wouldn''t have done it then, and we wouldn''t do it again." I guess what''s different is that he''s now the presumptive nominee and every bit of airtime for himself, his wife, or his kids, is free advertising. Too bad, he''s now regretting it and can''t take it back.

- This is an non-issue. Barack Obama comes across as a good father and this is even stupid to argue. And BTW I am not an Obama supporter.

- sandy19731 - thanks for pointing out that I omitted one "l" in the word "gall"; I''m impressed that you were even capable of distinguishing which of the variable meanings for this word I referenced in my post. By the way, I hope you''re recovering nicely from your recurring lobotomies; sounds to me like you''re in the good company of others who have had similar procedures and who are making posts on this topic. Boo-hoo-hoo kiddies.

- The kids wanted to be on TV during the older girls birthday. Then to you it is some credibility issue. How cynical have we become?

It is a credibility issue. He has been saying all along that he wants his family kept out of the race and then he puts them up front and center.
I have no problem with the interview itself. I thought the kids were cute and it made the Obama''s seem like a normal American family.
My issue is with the fact that he says one thing (privacy) and then does another (publicity). My issue is with the fact that I think he knows the interview brought him closer to many Americans and now he wants to go back to having his family be untouchable. But you can''t have it both ways.
He needs to actually make a decision and stick with it. - Reply to this comment
- This is a man who said he wanted his private life to be private and then had his children on Access. Not exactly believable is he?

- So you have never indulged your children and then had misgivings? If you hadn''''t you are not a parent.

This isn''t quite the same as indulging your children in an extra cookie. This is a man who said he didn''t want the media talking about his wife, when his wife made public statements. This is a man who said he wanted his private life to be private and then had his children on Access. Not exactly believable is he? - Reply to this comment

The word you''re searching for is gall not gal.
Gal is in the English language but it wouldn''t make sense in your context.
You''re welcome and I suggest a rabies vaccination. - Reply to this comment
- Maybe next time he''''ll really spend some quality time making a decision, including taking into consideration all of the impact or repercussions from his decision.

- It''s not the kids talking that''s the issue. He and his wife made the conscious decision to allow the interview. Fine, but now they''re having regrets for the decision because, well geez, they don''t understand why the interview is getting so much attention. Oh be real, are both of these parents that ignorant and naive? Obama should have just let the attention die down and it would be a dead issue, but he''s got to take up air time to make sure people know everything he has going on in his little indecisive mind. And, there''s no such word as "stupiding" in the English language. It''s amazing what some pass off as proper English and then have the gal to use it as such. It''s also amazing that some refuse to accept the opinions of others, while imposing their own as the only credible one. That''s a tad bit arrogant and disingenuous.
