Not trying to fool anybody. People are without jobs...however many with jobs are losing their homes because they bought homes out of their economic situation by taking out questionable loans to get them.

Ignorance is bliss, but you are responsible for your purchasing options.

Just like ignorance is bliss when chosing a political cnadidate...you can shut your eyes a buy a total shill who''s going to do the same damned thing the other candidate is going to do...or you can understand that no matter which one is elected the changes will be minimum at best.

Then it becomes a matter of what''s really important to you.

John McCain will not disarm this country, and he will defend it with all its might.

John McCain has no ties to radical Islamofasts who breed idiots that tie bombs on themselves and murder their perceived enemies...or drive planes into the WTC and massacre thousands of people.

Refining seems the same as flip flopping. What else is he going to "refine".

"For me to say that I''m going to refine my policies I don''t think in any way is inconsistent with prior statements and doesn''t change my strategic view that this war has to end and that I''m going to end it as president," Obama told reporters on his campaign plane.

LOL, Now his Anti-War radicals are mad at hime because he agrees with McCain that we need to stay in Iraq to keep stability. IRAQ war is being won and the left cant stand it. They actively root for our defeat. Lefties like Harry Reid - the war is lost - and Boxer, Kennedy, Fienstein, Feingold, Pelosi, Durbin should be tarred and feathered. We need farmers and store keepers running the gov''''t not more trial lawyers like Barrack Obama.

You should READ the article before commenting on it. He never "agreed" with grandpa that we should stay in Iraq.

He said the war IS going to end, but it''s going to be done a responsible manner, and that INCLUDES meeting with the generals, and withdrawing responsibly.

And I don''t know what you''re hoping to "win" out of this Pyrrhic Victory, but whatever it is, it sure isn''t worth the cost.

Why is the economic such a TALKING POINT in an election yeah? I suspect it''''s a way to engender fear in the people to sway votes.

You obviously choose to be ignorant. Do you think all the people that are being foreclosed on and kicked out of their houses are "imagining it"?

When you put $4.25 gallons of gas in your car, and it costs $60 to fill a mid-sized sedan, that''s all "make believe"?

No - you KNOW that McCain is going to follow the doomed economic plans of the WORST president ever, so you''re pathetically trying to paint a rosy picture out of it.

You can fool yourself, but you ain''t fooling me.

Nitpicking Obama''s statements is not going to change a thing. Americans are sick of the Republicons and what they did to this country. They want change and they want it NOW! That will happen in November when Obama becames our next President! I can hardly wait! Only 197 days left! Yessss!

Ideally yes, that IS how success would be measured. But admit it, who is MORE happy and content with their lives - the rich or the poor? If money is "no object" as you want to make it "ideally" appear, then please explain why our crashing economy is issue #1 in this election cycle.

lol, You don''t think the rich are slaves to money and the problems it brings with it? I know a lot of people very happy and content just the way they are, including myself. They choose not to listen to a bunch of klap trap BS that defines them!

What a load of KRAP! Success is measured in an individual as to whether they are happy and content with their lives! When did you become so shallow and insecure that material things mean success!!!

You were the one bemoaning a capitalist society and YOUR idea of slavery to money in a capitalist society indicating some other kind is better!

And your absurd assumptions about my husband are laughable!

EVERYONE in a capitalistic society, is a slave to money, whether you want to admit it or not. How is success defined in America? By how nice your home is, how nice your neighborhood is, what kind of car you drive, etc, etc. THAT makes us a slave to money.

You want to project your pro-communist ideals on someone that''''s fine - but don''''t do it with me. Do it to your husband. He''''s miserable already, so what can it hurt?

I was asked if I was a "slave to money".

I replied, "Isn''t that what happens to EVERYONE in a capitalistic society?"

You went off on some bizarre, pro-communism, anti-American tirade, attributing all of the statements YOU were making to me.

The biggest and most disturbing part of it ALL, is that religion has permeated itself so deep in OUR political system.

There you go again, Hungry, when are you going to stop denying what your candidate has done, stop lying for him, and stop apologizing for his participating in a race based separatist church for 20 years, which he CHOSE to do!

Posted by RowdyWicca at 09:03 AM : Jul 07, 2008

I think ALL forms of religion are bizarre and evil, and ALL of them should be avoided at all costs. That goes for TUCC, as well as FLDS, as well as the catholic church, and ESPECIALLY the evangelical movement and their hatred, racism, bigotry and intolerance.

Your whining and crying about ONE sect of the insanity of christianity, has little effect on me - sorry!!

The biggest and most disturbing part of it ALL, is that religion has permeated itself so deep in OUR political system.

So you have an objection to people being able to choose their vocation, choose where they live, choose how much money they make to cover their needs, choose what they want to achieve.

So you favor having someone choose your avocation according to what THEY perceive your abilities are, according to what THEY perceve your needs are, and according to how THEY perceive the wealth should be distributed!

HOT *** HUNGRY, LET''''S JUST GO STRAIGHT FROM CAPITALISM INTO COMMUNISM!!!

Obama soaked himself in the teachings of Dr. James Cone for 20 years? How do you know?

Also how do you "know" what they taught or preached in Obama''''s church, or for that matter, what he heard while he was there? Where you there to witness it?

Or are you just projecting your racism again?

Hungry doesn''t have a clue that you attend church to share your beliefs with other like minded individuals...and that in fact you CHOOSE those beliefs and teachings!
