I still don''''t believe they would touch it. And I certainly don''''t want ANY Supreme Court judges appointed by Barak Obama.

I respect your opinion, just don''t agree with you. BTW, did you ever take on Vortex like element51 asked you to do? I thought that was pretty pathetic of him/her/it to ask you to fight their fight.

Rowdy, actually we''''re just one more staunch conservative away from overturning Roe vs Wade. I''''m not too certain that even Kennedey can be trusted on it, but if just one of the four liberals is replaced by a hard right justice, it will happen. The only hope for us is a 60 member democratic majority in the senate to vote down any nominations like Roberts and Alito. McCain has promised that he will nominate justices in their image.

John McCain supports the same kind of torture developed to get false confessions from Americans during the Korean War by the communists. What a maverick.

How proud are Republicans of their record? They are so proud that even one of them openly says that Bush shouldn''''t show up to the GOP convention. They are so proud that they won''''t let McCain be seen with Bush Jr. at the convention. The GOP is so proud of itself that it will try to hide the fact that Bush Jr. has been at the helm for the past 7+ years.

The democrats are proud too! They''re renting a football stadium so it will fit Obama''s head!!!

I''''m back.I could care less who is on McCains or Obamas staff. The debate questions would not be announced and the candidates would have to answer them on their own. I would like to see if Obama can answer a question for himself...

Nawwwwww, but I''''d be happy to settle for a centrist republican and a loaded democratic congress working together! I think that''''s a perfect balance.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Posted by RowdyWicca at 04:12 PM : Jul 05, 2008

I could settle for that too, if there were a true centrist representing the republican party. The McCain off 2000 is no longer on earth, he has sold his soul to the hard right.
