- joe1022joe, try as you may, Obama''''s family, its religion and his childhood schooling will not be made an issue. There are real issues of concern, i.e. appointment of Federal judges, repair of infrastructure, energy supplies, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, military and intelligence incompetence, government incompetence and corruption etc, etc ad nauseum. Only simpletons will be concerned with the subjects you raise.

Simpletons??? The single most important issue in the campaign is who the candidates are. Barak Hussein Obama is at heart non-American. Apparently born on our soil, he has little connection to who Americans are. I know of and don''t believe a man with half of his family born and living in Africa (and Moslems in the bargain) would be granted a security clearance. Obama would be a high security risk. In his capacity as a US Senator he would ordinarily be granted access to very sensitive information. In all likelihood he is not given access to that information now because he is such a high security risk. - Reply to this comment
- Again, community and faith-based organization were created so that people could have confidence that their money was actually getting to those who were needy instead of people having to meet some absurd selection criteria promulgated by the federal government regulations in attempts to control!
Obama wants to put a $ into these organizations so he can promulgate the regulations and control! That''s all this BS is about!
Never ever let Obama OR any other fed near these organizations! - Reply to this comment
- TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
Mr. Obama is %u201Chead%u201D of his campaign, he is in charge and since he doesn%u2019t look favorable in the American public%u2019s eyes as a patriot, someone that you can %u201Ctrust%u201D if the country goes to war, Mr. Obama has set his jackals on John McCain. Now retired Gen. Wes Clark smears John McCain%u2019s war record with the statement of he was %u201Criding%u201D in a fighter plane that got shot down are not qualifications for being president. Well first of all John McCain was not %u201Criding%u201D in a fighter plane he was the pilot and he was flying over seriously defended enemy territory when his plane was shot down by a missile. He was willing to give his %u201Clife%u201D for America that in itself gives him 10 points above and beyond Mr. Obama%u2019s marks. To belittle our respect for any veteran especially during the 4th of July week is repulsive and disgusting.
Being the President of the US is all about character and its time the American people let OBAMA know! - Reply to this comment
- Change of mind for the empty suit I see. Also heard he''s taken to wearing that nasty, patriotic flag lapel pin again. Ah yes, he sure is a "different" politican, fresh, new, full of blah, blah, blah. Looks like the same old cr*p to me and any other thinking American. Pander, pander, pander.

- Obama doesn''t love his country. He''s in love with an idea of what he wants to change the country into, which is pretty much another Eurozone.
But he doesn''t love his country for what it is, or its history.
He just wants to change it into something else. Something two parts Europe and one part Chicago politics, with no room for religion, self-reliance, or self-defense. - Reply to this comment
- Obama proposes to elevate the program to a "moral center" of his;
OF COURSE HE DOSE.
PEOPLE LIKE THE REV. WRIGHT, PFLEGER, AND ALL THE RACIST CHURCHES CAN TEACH THEIR RACIST, ANTI WHITE, ANTI JEWISH, ANTI AMERICAN RANTS TO INNOCENT CHILDREN, BY THESE SO CALLED "FAITH BASED ORGANIZATIONS."

- "Gosh, using your logic, poor people don''''t contribute to the government either, so why do they receive so much of the largesse?
These institutions are better, and more efficient, than the government EVER could hope to be...plus they have the compassion that is necessary....
I think, truthfully, we should do away with all government forms of public assistance and rely solely on faith-based groups to fulfill the needs of the needy...then lets see how much those libs really "care about the people"...."-- Posted by boosterprez1
Oh please, when was the last time the government had representatives that molested children and covered it up? When was the last time they built a water slide in a religious "Disney Land" and bilked both their donors and the government?
And you want to give these people more money? You want Scientology federally funded?
Better think about this people. There''s a good reason that government funds have not been put into the churches. - Reply to this comment
