But I will take your fine example.

This topic reminds me of a saying that a wondeful employees of mine in TX told me several years ago:

Others can''t "get you goat", you have to give it to them.....

She was wise beyond her years, to say the least.

At any rate, it is 11:15 where I am (contrary to the earlier posters assumption), and I have an appointment for late dinner here in Singapore, so I will see you good people, and you not so good ones (See formrusmcsgt, I can learn still even at my age, I was going to call the not so good ones beeyotches!) tomorrow, on other threads.

Thank you for the kind words, brian.

I always enjoy your posts very much.

You are obviously very analytical and not afraid to exercise your intellect.

Admirable.

It is only hard to fathom because you are more disciplined than I, but I think these people have a poster of Bush on their wall, and a greased right hand, and are trying to make the "sleepy soldier" stand at attention.

Maybe I shouldn''''t have said too polite, perhaps a better term is more disciplined than I.

Ahhh, understood.

Possibly a ramification of being a former Marine.

They do know a little something about discipline, after all....lol.

I too try to follow your example, but once in a while some of these guys hang a high curveball out there, and it is, for me, just too tempting to blast it.

Too polite?

Interesting.

I have always believed that he who shouts adds no validity to his argument.

If the point is invalid, no amount of volume changes that.

And I always conduct myself as a gentleman even when dealing with those who have no concept whatsoever regarding what being a gentleman is about.

I do not base my behavior on that of others.

Thanks.

You know bro, I often wonder what goes on in the minds of these such as the twit we were parrying in regards to their believing that by simply hurling insult, they seem to convince themselves that they are actually accomplishing something.

Hard to fathom.....
