I am shocked & appalled at the level stupidity in this country where people are adopting the middle name of Obama " Hussein" in support of this inexperianced & unqualified person! There are far too many idiots in this world. These idiots do not even know what they are supporting. That is the most moronic thing.

In 1978 we had an energy crisis spurned by high gasoline prices and shortages.

A liberal Democrat was sitting in the White House.

Major political differences with Iran led to the ''''Iranian Hostage Crisis.''''

All of the peaceful negotiating of Jimmy Carter was ineffective in obtaining freedom for our hostages.

A military effort to spring the hostages came too late, was poorly planned and orchestrated, and had little support from this weak executive.

Presently WE ARE AT WAR! We are in an ever WORSENING energy crisis THAT THREATENS THE ECONOMIC STABILITY of this country as never before.

At present an even more liberal Democrat looms as the likely next president.

Iran, a state that sponsors terrorists, is about to acquire Nuclear weapons.

We can only imagine what crisis looms ahead of us that this new inexperienced even weaker executive will have to deal with.

Who says History doesn''''t repeat?
"If we fail to learn from history we are doomed to repeat it."

YOU DO NOT WANT THE USA IN THE MIDDLE EAST?

BLAME THE DEMONIC-RATS

THE DEMONIC-RAT DOCTRINE,,,

On February 16, 1943, President Franklin D. Roosevelt said the "the defense of Saudi Arabia is vital to the defense of the United States." On February 14, 1945, while returning from the Yalta Conference, Roosevelt met with King Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia on the Great Bitter Lake in the Suez Canal, the first time a U.S. president had visited the Persian Gulf region.

The Carter Doctrine was a policy proclaimed by President of the United States Jimmy Carter in his State of the Union Address on 23 January 1980, which stated that the United States would use military force if necessary to defend its national interests in the Persian Gulf region. The doctrine was a response to the 1979 invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union, and was intended to deter the Soviet Union%u2014the Cold War adversary of the United States%u2014from seeking hegemony in the Persian Gulf. After stating that Soviet troops in Afghanistan posed "a grave threat to the free movement of Middle East oil," Carter proclaimed:

Let our position be absolutely clear: An attempt by any outside force to gain control of the Persian Gulf region will be regarded as an assault on the vital interests of the United States of America, and such an assault will be repelled by any means necessary, including military force. (full speech)

Here''s a really cool political cartoon folks:

The clown Howdy Doodie in black face offering a highly animated outstretched middle finger to a giant Exxon/Mobil sign.

The caption reads:
"America, you can go drill yourself for all I care!"

To show how much Obama and Clinton together scares the repubs, try finding anything about this event on Fox. No where on the main page (although a story about an ice cream man getting robbed twice is, lol), not even under the Politics banner. You have to click on Politics, and all the way at the bottom there''''''''s a video link. That''''''''s it! I guess they don''''''''t want any of their viewers to get all upset at the prospect of a united democratic party.

McCain meets with Gay Republicans

Log Cabin confirms talks with presumed GOP nominee

The president of the Log Cabin Republicans confirmed today that he recently met face-to-face with GOP presidential candidate John McCain.

As first reported by GayPatriot.org, Patrick Sammon, the head of the gay Republican organization, met with McCain apparently within the last couple of weeks.

In a statement supplied to the Blade Wednesday, Sammon wrote that his organization has %u201Chad a series of productive meetings with the campaign since Sen. McCain won the nomination %u2014 including a recent meeting with the senator.%u201D

%u201CWe expect to have more conversations with the campaign as we head toward November," Sammon wrote.

The Log Cabin Republicans have not yet endorsed McCain for president.

GayPatriot.org reports that the Log Cabin meeting was not reflected on McCain%u2019s published schedule in advance of the meeting.

The web site reports that the meeting with McCain would be the first between any gay GOP group and a Republican presidential nominee since the %u201CAustin 12%u201D met with then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush in 2000.

Russia''s oil and gas power Putin''s ambitionsSimon Tisdall The Guardian,

Plans by the Moscow-based company Gazprom to provide 10% of Britain''s natural gas requirements by 2010 underline Russia''s growing international importance as an energy supplier. Oil and gas bring political and economic clout. And they are fuelling a revival in Russia''s great-power ambitions.

American qualms about the Kremlin''s authoritarianism or its support for Iran may be more readily suppressed when Russia''s position as the World''s Largest Gas Exporter and second largest oil exporter is factored in.

"As North Sea reserves are run down, we are likely to become net importers of gas by 2006 and of oil by 2010," Mr Straw said.

"By 2020 we will probably be importing three-quarters of our primary energy needs." Britain''s economy, public services and security relied on "secure and affordable energy supplies", he said.

What holds true for Britain holds true for its main allies.

While Russia is 12th in the list of US oil suppliers, its output and proven reserves of 60bn barrels give it enormous leverage in the international marketplace.
