Comments on: Will Evangelicals Turn Out For McCain?
Christian Conservatives Helped Propel Bush To 2004 Victory, But Many Might Stay Home This Time

Yup, he''s the former Ohio secretary of state who tried to rig the 2004 election voting in Ohio. He''s an evangelical right wing republican tool. - Reply to this comment

These so called Christian conservatives are just a bunch of religious morons who have a perverted view of what the Bible really teaches.
Their sole purpose in life is to push their religious views down the throats of everyone, just like ******* Bush and his group of misfits tries to control our government.
-------------------
So much for the "tolerant" Democrats who believe in "Diversity."
The hate-filled, bigoted, ignorant rant like we see here shows the ugly underbelly of Obama supporters, and how they are using partisan politics, race and religion to turn Americans against each other.
Obama is attracting a lot of loons to his side. That makes him a danger to America. - Reply to this comment
- "No one "believes in abortion." We believe the government shouldn''''''''t be able to tell a woman what to do with her body. Perhaps if the "real christians" had approved birth control funding, and *** education other than "don''''''''t do it" there wouldn''''''''t be an issue.

Ok, this one gets my vote for "post of the day"

- Hungry: I agree with McVet, most will stay home. Some will vote for Bob Barr, very few will vote for Obama but some will! This election will not even be close; right now, I would be surprised if Obama doesn''''t win in a landside. Have a good day!

Yep, I agree. Some evangelicals will vote the bitter vote just to keep someone they despise from office. They don''t like McSame either, but in their view he isn''t as bad as Obama.
Pretty warped, if you ask me. But then again, that''s no surprise. - Reply to this comment

Ti won''t matter, hungrymama and her type are not interested in facts, they are the faith based community, not the fact based community.

- McLame had a faithful, beautiful wife who wouldn''''t let him be told she was in a horrific car crash, so as not to upset him. When he came home, she "wasn''''t the same beauty queen he had left", and he immediately started cheating on her. Found a young, rich trophy wife whose family helped him politically. Dumped 1st wife. Said to 2nd wife, "At least I don''''t pile on the makeup like a trollop, you c*nt."
Why wouldn''''t the evangelicals love him? LOL

Really, and what would she say? Carol McCain (McCains first wife) was terribly injured in a car crash while John was a POW. Her left leg, arm and pelvis were crushed. She was in a wheelchair for months. When she was able to walk again she was 4 inches shorter and had gained a lot of weight. None of this information was relayed to McCain because Carol did not want him to worry while he was a POW. Before the accident she was a famous swimwear model, after she was walked with a limp and had a deformed arm.
In 1980, while Carol was in the hospital for cancer surgery, John MCain divorced her and went on to marry his new wife Cindy ONE month later. John had apparently been having an affair with Cindy for years.
In her words: she says. "%u2018My accident is well recorded. I had 23 operations, I am five inches shorter than I used to be and I was in hospital for six months. It was just awful, but it wasn%u2019t the reason for my divorce.
%u2018My marriage ended because John McCain didn%u2019t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens...it just does.%u2019 "
Them''s the facts, I know they seem to have a liberal bias but them''s just the facts. - Reply to this comment

aldon, sorry I think most all Church folks will vote for McCain. I go to a large Baptist Church and I know how they will vote and know people in other Churches that are backing McCain. A lot of people don''t agree with McCain on everything, but when November 4th rolls around, they will go to the polls and vote for him just to keep Obama out. Also a lot of other people will also. This thing is far from being over regardless of what we read on these boards. - Reply to this comment

- A lot of people who have religious beliefs and have been taken in by Republican''''''''s are embarrassed at what has been done with their votes. The look at the ugly situation with some of those who professed to have their opinions in mind, they look at the death and destruction done because they voted the wrong way. No a lot of them will stay home and a lot will vote for Obama.

- McCain is trying to have it both ways -- assuring moderates he is really kinda pro-choice (he ain''t) and telling conservatives he''s pro-life (which he can''t be, if he''s trying to tell moderates he''s NOT).
What to do?
Count on the short attention span of the US public. - Reply to this comment

Nanci, you should check with McCain''s first wife and let her tell you the story. It is all different from what you say. You just make up things on people. If you would stick to the truth, people would listen to you more. You are just a LIAR - Reply to this comment
- The reason McCain needs the crazy vote is because there are not enough millionaires to put him over the top.
All he needs to do to get the crazy vote is say the Earth is flat and use the gay hate card, instead of real issues. That worked for Bush. - Reply to this comment
