There is still no place or safe way to dispose of the nuclear waste. I''m not averse on principle, but there are no states that want to accept the waste, and it''s too dangerous to send abroad. And who would we trust to transport it...this seems like another Haliburton/Blackwater no-bid scheme. Seems like solar, geothermal, and wind are more viable alternatives. And the Repubs would be pleased that GE is ready if the price is right. Dow also has roof tiles that incorporate nano solar collectors on ice until the time is ripe. They are at least somewhat less predatory than the oil companies...for now.
