1. He openly said he does not know how the economy works; and he like the Bush economy policy to date
2. He said he will stay in Iraq for 100 years...and he said it is not important when the troop come back

More than likely it''''s none of the above, the reality is it is proving to be hard to find a non-patriot for VP. Can you imagine the president of the US and a patriot VP standing together in front of the American flag, what is the VP to do he/she wants to salute but how can they when the president won%u2019t. When have you known a president to salute the flag? Members and former members of the military salute the flag. During ceromonies presidents usually stand at attention during the playing of the ''Star Stangled Banner'' or place their hands over their heart during the ''Pledge of Alligence''. The only time you may see a president salute is when members of the military salute the president, then you may see the president throw a half hearted salute back, but presidents generally dont salute the flag.

Raising the issue of a president saluting a flag is in step with an consistent effort to apply irrelevent presidential standards to Obama. It feeds into a persisent and widely viewed misconception that blacks couldnt possibly be patriot. Unlike the his white counterparts who are not burden with the assumption of unpatriotism, Obama has to prove his patriotism twice as much to combat the misconception of blacks.
