I want to know why a Kennedy is involved in the VP process? Talk about an elitist mentality. Keep up the good choices Obama, you don''t really want the White House.

Non of the candidates address the real issues! %u201CChange to the future%u201D to what....?
The only real change to the future is to put ALL Main ISSUES on the ballot for
%u201Cthe people to express their%u201D! The people should be empowered to express their
will, and not the special interest group, the supper delegates, the Senate or the
Congress. To STOP ramped Corruption is to empower the people!
There is a mockery of the democratic process, the writing is on the wall--the two party system is not worth voting for! Any third party will do much better when all the main issues are placed on the ballot!

So, it''s that seasoned public servant Caroline Kennedy that''s going to be choosing our vice president for us, is it. Cute, Obama. Is this indicative of your own depth of knowledge and experience or more a glimpse into the showmanship that would mark your Presidency? I see very little substance in this candidate and hope the rest of you can see past his youthful Kennedyesque charm to the shallowness that lies beneath. This would-be Emperor truly has no clothes.

If all this doesn''t excite you it''s time to visit the undertaker! I''m a child of the 60''s... see so many great changes in my life. The election of Kennedy, the walk on the moon, Women''s liberation, Civil Rights... but NOW! WOW!

It is fitting that the child of the Man who forever established the true meaning of Seperation of Church and State will help select the running mate for the FIRST Black Canidate. Very fitting indeed.

I personally would never tell him who to add, but I will tell him NOT to add Hillary. Posted by GreatDriveW

Although I hate Hillary, Obama will need two things to win in November...votes and money, lots and lots of money. The Clintons are good at delivering both, especially Bill and his sleazy rich friends.
As they say, ''politics makes strange bedfellows'', so goes his campaign. With her either as a candidate or her support, he should win easily in November. Without it, four more years of McBush.

How totally cool that he''s asking Caroline to be on the search committee. And it''s also good for them to seriously consider Hillary; she still has the clout to make or break us in November. Personally, I would love to see a bare-knuckle white guy from the south and I''m not talking about Edwards, I''m talking about Jim Webb. He would match McCain on the war hero bit and bring along a lot of southern whites who are still leery of a black president.

The wild card would be Hillary''s female supporters and whether she would be willing to deliver them if she is denied the VP spot.

From the very beginning, and through good times and bad, I''ve supported Barack. What irritates me are these people who never endorsed Barack suddenly telling him who to put on his ticket.

I personally would never tell him who to add, but I will tell him NOT to add Hillary.

When this primary season began Hillary openly supported special interest groups. It wasn''t until she realized her message was failing that she rolled out her "Ready for Change" slogan.

We the people voted for change. Not incremental change, or change of party, but massive structural change. As such, I DO NOT want anyone on Barack''s ticket who''s been "Ready for Change" for only six months.

Richardson, Edwards, Dodd, Hagel, Sebelius, or anyone like these people is fine, BUT NOT HILLARY!!!!!
