Bupkis... what a bunch of jibberish. Liberals do NOT believe the gov''t is the answer to ANYTHING. They believe the GOV''T is OF the people and BY the people. WE are the gov''t. LIBERALS believe the gov''t (the people) are to set rules by which we ALL abide. The republiCONS however believe that there''s no need for rules... just do as the CORPORATIONS do and be happy. PRoblem with that is when you leave it up to the corporations to do things, you get rampant corruption and a breakdown in the economy. BUSH lifted regulations on the banking industry... and now look where we''re at on the housing meltdown. CONGRATS to your NON-Liberal thought process. 1) Their childrens lives WERE wasted in vain. They were sent to DIE in a war that was not worth fighting. They were sent in based on LIES this administration cooked up. They flat out omitted FACTS from the paperwork that the congress voted on to give authority to the president to wage war. The president had these facts BEFOREHAND. This is criminal. It''s the PRESIDENT BUSH who should tell the parents their children''s lives were wasted in vain.
2) Inexperienced senator? Let''s see... so he should be EXPERIENCED like those who voted to GO TO WAR to begin with? Riiight... BTW, being a SENATOR is a great accomplishment for a "rookie" such as Obama. Accept it.

- jerr11, I have 6 children with the eldest 22 and the youngest 14. They will attend college and leave the enlisting to the poor people. They are too good to be expendable.
