Five United States Senators who accepted money from S&L swindler Charles Keating and twice met with him as a group in April 1987.

The Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruption in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The serman in my Church yesterday was that to be a Christian one must not merely say it but practice it. It was a message that faith is action not reaction, not merely just saying one has faith but accepting the principals of Christianity and living by them through faith in action. It wasn''t about Hillary and her entitlements or Obama and his entitlements.
