- If Obama chooses Hillary as a VP candidate, he will lose my vote and I''''ll have to write in or go with McCain unwillingly, but I WILL vote, period.
Obama does not need her name recognition to win the Presidency. If he chooses her, that will be only one reason for that. And if he does, and I were him, I''''d be watching my back every second. She''''s already ''''slipped'''' about an asassination during primaries that pushed her husband ahead...Beware, beware.

- He was 200 delegates down on June 5th and NOBODY was calling for him to step down!

You make such a BID DEAL of this!!!
Actually he was less than 170 delegates down. And the primaries were run much different in 68 than now. In 68 the primaries started in MARCH.

- but I still think for the guaranteed win in November, ...she should be VP on the ballot if not at the top. Alot of Hillary supporters will still vote for Obama/Clinton rather than Amnesty Mccain! Wether you love her or hate her, Hillary has very much support, support we will need in November!
Posted by TRBundro1277 at 01:24 AM : May 27, 2008
For the record, I tend to agree. I think an Obama/Clinton ticket (or vice versa) is the guaranteed way to win in Nov.
In the beginning Obama was not my first choice, and now he is simply my preferred choice over Hillary. I don''t support a two-family dynasty presiding over this great nation. It''s not what our founding fathers had in mind, else they would have instituted a monarchy.
McCain is NOT a factor as far as I''m concerned. Unlike a lot of "swing voters" on this board, I would NEVER vote for a republican; especially one who advocates FIVE MORE YEARS in Iraq.
So, it''s either Obama...or Clinton, if her "miracle" comes to fruition.
History shows that most people vote in November the same party they voted in the primary. ...regardless of what rowdy says. - Reply to this comment
- let me just say if Hillary is not on the ticket then i n behalf of millions of hard working american woman we are going to punish our party and hand the presidency to republican

- Note to Candidates: I DO NOT EVER, EVER VOTE FOR ANY CANDIDATE WHO CALLS MY PHONE ASKING FOR MY VOTE. I NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANY CALLERS, AND ESPECIALLY NONE WITH COMPUTERIZED CALLING SYSTEMS. IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME, PUT AN ENGLISH-AS-FIRST-LANGUAGE PERSON ON THE PHONE, NOT SOME COMPUTER.
Note to Obama, do not call me, or have any of your representatives call me or you will lose my vote. - Reply to this comment
- This on ABC news:
"But as the primaries come to an end and Clinton''s chances of overtaking Obama''s delegate lead dwindle, the former U.S. president has joined the Hillary-for-Veep bandwagon, ABC News'' chief Washington correspondent George Stephanopoulos reported.
"He is definitely talking it up, making no secret it would be a strong ticket for Barack Obama," Stephanopoulos reported on "Good Morning America" this morning.
Bill Clinton believes that his wife has "earned the offer of vice president," Stephanopoulos said.
"You''re also seeing Clinton supporters talking it up as well, like Sen. [Dianne] Feinstein of California," he said."
If Bill is pushing it you''ve got to believe Hillary is considering it. - Reply to this comment

East then South then West then North.
Hearken to the Witches'' Rune.
Here we come to call thee forth.
Earth and Water, Air and Fire,
Wand and pentacle and sword,
Work ye unto our desire,

Cords and censor, scourge and knife.
Powers of the Withches'' blade,
Waken all ye unto life,
And come ye as the charm is made.
Queen of heaven, Queen of hell,
Horne''d hunter of the night,
Lend your power unto our spell,
And work our will by magic rite.
By all the powers of land and sea,
By all the might of moon and sun,

- I predict Juan Mccain will lose South Carolina in November.... I bet that Liberatarian candidate takes enough conservative votes away from Juan Mccain! Think about it... Juan Mccain won the South Carolina Republican primary with only 27 percent of the vote.. That means 7 out of 10 republicans voted for SOMEONE OTHER THAN JUAN MCCAIN! Watch it, I called it first!

- He doesn''''t trust her or need her. He is one of those rare politicians that reaches across the aisle to the other side. He can turn traditionally red states over to blue and she can''''t. The people who voted for her in states like WV and KY are not ever going to vote for a black man anyway, so why bother? With the new voters he has excited to turn out for him he can win without them or her.

*** But he shouldn''t pick a republican to be his VP. He needs someone strong. Wether you love them or hate them, the Clintons fight ruff! I kinda would like Hillary to be an attack dog! Polls suggest we need Hillary as VP to win Florida, Ohio, and PA! The Jews and Hispanics there she would help pull in, without causing whites to shun someone like richardson as vp. I for one will vote for Obama, as long as he doesn''t pick Richardson as VP. I hate richardson. He lets illegals get free college in New Mexico! That isn''t fair! They aren''t suppose to legally be here, and then we pay for them to get free college??? I had to work full time while I went to college! No Amnesty! - Reply to this comment
- I''m pretty sure she''s not really a Hillary supporter. Think she''s one of the McCain bloggers. Posted by nanc12

- he should let her be VP, with conditions of coarse!
Posted by TRBundro1277
Don''''t think so - every political writer says that having her as vp would not help, and would probably hurt, him. The independents and on-the-fence republicans hate her, the people who don''''t want old politics would be upset, her supporters wouldn''''t like it because she''''s #2, etc.
Posted by nanc12 at 01:50 AM : May 27, 2008
*** Actually I heard some polls say that with Hillary as VP, alot of hillary supporters would be less likely to vote for Juan MCcain! Honestly, I don''t really like Hillary, but I like her ability to win PA and Ohio. I understand we don''t need West Virginia and Kentucky, but we need Ohio and PA! Hillary won those stats with like 7 and 10 points respectively. That is alot of Democratic, and Independent voters. - Reply to this comment
