I don''t know what it has to do with anything 40 years later, that is why I don''t think it was such a big deal that she brought up the subject.

Exactly, it had absolutely nothing to do about the current campaign, except when you put it in context: She was explaining WHY she was staying in the race, to wit., Robert Kennedy was assassinated in JUNE. It suggests that maybe (hint, hint) if she stuck it out until June, Obama might have the same fate.

my husband went on in the primary, and in June of 1992 finally secured the nomination, and Bobby Kennedy had just made his acceptance speech in California in June 1968 at which time he was assassinated.

Well when a person lies once, what ever they say after that is suspect: Bill Clinton had the nomination locked up in MARCH, not in January.

Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June, that is true. So it sure sounds as if she is saying,: If this nomination process continues on until June, Obama might be assassinated." HER REASON FOR STAYING IN THE RACE. What a ghoulish, ambitious b!tch.

I don''''t see Hillary''''s remark as being such a big deal. The fact that Robert Kennedy was assasinated in CA in 1968 is a historical fact.

Please tell me what Robert Kennedy''''s assassination in June 1968 has to do with Hillary Clinton running for the presidential nomination in May, 2008. Unless she was suggesting that June is a good month for assassinations. Ya think?

First of all, Hillary was addressing a question by a reporter as to why are (They) trying to push her out. I would have asked this reporter, who are (They) you are referring to,instead she said,"I don''t understand it", and went on to say, my husband went on in the primary, and in June of 1992 finally secured the nomination, and Bobby Kennedy had just made his acceptance speech in California in June 1968 at which time he was assassinated. So right away the media jumps on this, and even the headlines here,"Clinton cites Kennedy Assassination," c''mon folks you and I both know they twisted this story to make her look bad to make her look like she is piling on a Kennedy a Obama endorser and very sick at the time. Wake up and smell the roses only the Clinton haters believe this

Bringing up assassination in politics, especially during a campaign, is pretty inappropriate.

But then she follows it up with a huge lie. Bill''s campaign was effectively sewed up about the first week of April 1992, in a primary season that started much later than this one.

Hillary, you''re an idiot, get off the stage...

I had to come back on as this screenname from ranger1948. Where do you live ? I lived in Missouri and they had an offer from the electric company for anyone converting their homes from gas to total electric they would give a 20% discount each month on their bill. Propane in the coutry has always been very expensive. Might want to ask your electric company about this program.

I guess you''re not too good with reading comprehension. She was asked about her reasons for staying in the race "so long". She was replying that it was not unusual for primaries to run into June. She cited two historical examples, one of which was Bobby Kennedy. Everyone remembers that the assassination was in JUNE and happened while he was campaigning for the nomination. It is political correctness pushed to ridiculous extremes to say that this historical fact should not even be mentioned.

Even Bobby Kennedy''s SON has gone on record saying he found NOTHING OFFENSIVE in what HRC said. If even he is not offended, why should anyone else be offended ? The MSM is making a ridiculous fuss over nothing out of this. Typical of their treatment of Hillary.

The Clintons have proven themselves to be of low character, lacking in integrity, prone to poor judgement, and willing to use the american people including the people of Michigan and Florida.
I will not vote for Hillary on ANY ticket and I will fight to keep her out of the white house.
