NOTE- By ''piloted a plane''?, I was thinking of a new, large Boeing commercial airliner as opposed to military fighter jets.

I am bothered by the following:

First, it''s a requirement of political office that you consider and vote upon issues in many different areas in which you have had no direct participation.
How many times has McCain cast votes on issues without direct participation? Has he farmed? Fished?
Piloted a plane? Now, he says Obama shouldn''t offer an opinion because he lacks direct participation!
Ridiculous!!

Second, once again he showed himself to be a Bush supporter & non-supporter of vets! Shame on him!

Third, with all his criticism of Obama, HE didn''t even take the time to VOTE! No, he was too busy at a banquest and fundraiser!

Fourth, McCain''s actions in this instance show that HE IS GUILTY of what he accuses Obama---that of politicizing the situation!

Finally, ''true, American heroes'' don''t act like this, folks! Nor, is military service a ''pass'' that allows all your shortcomings to be overlooked! And, John McCain has a ton of those! Romanticize and glorify him at your own peril---he looks like another GWB to me!

that''''s true. Nothing would bring this waste of war to an end faster then the thought of the children of the elite actually having a chance on getting killed for the profits of that same privileged elite. then again many of the monied class may be happy to sacrifice their own children for a few more bucks. name a price per child?

Serving was apparently not good enough for John Kerry. He was dodging bullets on the Mekong while Bush was going AWOL in the national guard.

Now, of course, the Dem candidate can''t talk ''military'' cuz he hasn''t served.

Here''s an Idea: McCain can''t talk about dealing with the $10 trillion national debt because he''s from the party that apparently CANT SEE IT!!!

If not having been in the service means Obama can''''t have valid ideas about military benefits, how does John McCain get to make decisions for women about their own bodies?

If not having been in the service means Obama can''t speak about military benefits, why does McCain think he can take over the decisions women make about their own bodies? He sure has never been pregnant!
