- I guess some still haven''t gotten it... McCain is a Republican mostly in name. He has voted center-left most of his life. Of course, it is an election year and he has to appeal to the sub-100-IQ crowd... My guess is he will not "come out of the closet" with his liberal views until after November. If he wins, right wingers are in for a big surprise, as he may be more of a Social Libertarian than Clinton.
