Berniew4,

I feel for you man. You must be going through a tough time with the reality of what is about to happen. May I suggest psychoanalysis and meds. It may help to take the edge off. One way or another, change is coming. And it is time for it. God bless you!

Let the repubs keep running attacks like this. All of their "crying wolf" has come back to roost and no one believes them or in them anymore. Duke Cunningham, Tom DeLay and all the crooks have been exposed.
Their "Swiftboat attacks" are sinking them

To bobbyduck. i sometime wonder who cannot take "THE REAL TRUTH" Hence all the lies and no facts. If the liberal media and whacko liberals had all pulled together and loved this country we would have alreafy defeated all the terrorists. BUT BUT this is not what the anti American democrats want. thay want anything to be bad becuse they hate BUSH, Obama will probably win and all of your lies will continue for four years . I only hope we can survive before Americans see their errors .

ANYONE who has been proud of America''s direction since Gingrich, Delay and their neocon cohorts hijacked a once great government needs to stop, take a deep breath, and take a real look at where we have been going. There isn''t a lot to be proud of. Michelle Obama spoke what many true Americans think.

The problem is that all you neocon whiners just can''t stand to hear the REAL truth about how badly your heroes have hurt America. Now we''re going to have to fight you losers to fix the damage you caused.

If it can still be fixed.....

Why does Michelle Obamas face look like a monkey?

Michelle Obama%u2019s actual quote:

%u201C"for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country."%u201D

I find this statement, by Michelle Obama, to be entirely appropriate and completely understandable.

Africa-Americans were originally brought here as slaves.

The United States has come a long way since it%u2019s founding.

We have made many changes, some good, some not so good.

When slavery was abolished African-Americans had tremendous reason to be proud (although that alone could not erase the memories of their enslavement).

When they were given the right to vote, they again had a reason to be proud.

When integration laws were passed allowing them to ride in the front of a bus or eat in the front of public restaurants or simply use the same public toilets as whites, they had reason to be proud.

Now, in 2008, after more than 2 centuries, the fact that a black man is actually leading in the nomination for president by a major political party dwarfs those gains (in a political sense) and this is the ONLY one of those events that has happened in Michelle%u2019s adult lifetime.

If Americans have overcome past prejudices enough to accomplish this, then I think ALL Americans should be REALLY proud of their country, and for many, perhaps for the first time.
