Ask Martha Stewart about INSIDER TRADING. Golly GEE, and all she had to do was FILE SEPARATELY from her hubby, shift the money to HIM and have HIM CLAIM "PRIVACY RIGHTS"!

When EVERYTHING becomes PUBLIC FODDER from PUBLIC strip searches of 70 year old ladies at Airports to where someone went to school at age 5 to the OPINION of an acquaintance - DOESN''T IT SEEM STRANGE that the NEOCONS SCREAM PRIVACY RIGHTS over their OWN questionable SELF-INTEREST DEALINGS, FINANCES AND POWER DEALINGS???

These GOP smear tactics are disgusting. I only hope the American people are smarter than these despicable people running for office.

They had better tread carefully fooling with Michelle. She is no ''shrinking violet'', ''stand behind her husband smiling sweetly'' type woman. And she isnt running for office. She''s not crazy about having her family involved in this mess anyway and she is likely to hold up some truths that the GOP might not wanna see. She is likely to let them have it in a way her husband has been reluctant to. She is not going to take any ***** from these people. Maybe they should just stick to Helping mccain and his ''little lady'' cover up some of their dirty dealings.

Everyone should read Sen. Obama''s book, it is excellent. I think it is really funny that truthyness is attempting to take the words and spin them his or her own way....

Good try, but other people know how to read, your spin isn''t working...LOL

If Cindy McCain is forced to reveal her finances it would expose their family. She was up to her ears in the Keating 5 debaucle and no telling what else.

She just recently sold her investments in the Sudan, does she think we are so stupid that we actually believe that she just realized that there is genocide going on in the country that is lining her pockets....

Mrs. Obama is a brilliant woman and it is so typical for the GOP to attempt to spin something bad out of a statement she made that I totally agree with. I am very proud of my country now, but I have lived with shame for many years thanks to the antics of the Republican Party.....their male *** scandals, corrupt administration, too many issues to name. We have a chance for real change and I am very proud of our process today.

But, we can always count on the good old republican religious right, they are such hypocrites.......

Michele Obama is great! She is going to be a wonderful First Lady...

cindy Mccain files separate from her husband, she doesn''t need to supply that information to the public. You do have a choice you know to file joint or to file separate.

Obama''s campaign accused the Tennessee GOP of engaging in smear politics and unfairly going after the candidate''s family.

omg, do these people ever stop whining.

Republicans need to tend to their own platform, abide by their own party doctrine, and do the job they were elected to do and stop worrying about how they will ''take down'' the democrats. If all these politicians would just put their own personal agendas aside, stop thinking up ways to pad their own pockets, and following the will of the voters we wouldn''t have smack downs like the ones that took place this week in which republican seats held for so long they had grown roots to China were handed over to democrats. This is going to happen to any politician not doing what they need to be doing...regardless the party. Americans are sick of all of you!!!

Those who live in glass houses...

WHY is Cindy McCain HIDING the REAL tax returns for the 100 MILLION that''s REALLY supporting their family.

Why did it take A YEAR AFTER (and getting CAUGHT) ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES CHECKED and GOT RID OF THEIR questionable investments - for the McCains to get rid of THEIR SUDAN investments?

HOW MUCH PROFIT did that EXTRA YEAR bring in??

WHAT are they HIDING under the EXCUSE that it is JUST HER''S?

IF SHE INSISTS SHE IS SEPARATE then TO AVOID THE APPEARANCE OF PROFITING from potential FINANCIAL "insider information" will SHE ALSO LIVE SEPARATELY?

WHY does EVERYBODY ELSE go by the rules but the McCains OPT OUT THROUGH LOOPHOLES DESIGNED FOR THE ULTRA-WEALTHY?

What''s with the NEOCON DOUBLE STANDARD that OVERLOOKS potentially QUESTIONABLE SECRET business dealings to the tune of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars HID AWAY BY THE POWERFUL yet insists that EVERYONE ELSE has to be STRIPPED of that kind of PRIVACY??

Barack is one of the smartest people you will ever encounter who will deign to enter this messy thing called politics.%u201D
-Michelle Obama

The definition of deign is;

condescend: do something that one considers to be below one%u2019s dignity

If there were truly damning evidence to be found in any Obama writings or statements, the press would have had a field day by now. Excerpts and statements taken out of context are usually ignored. And should be.
