"I am not sure why he apologized. Is he afraid that a feminist will find what he said derogatory?

Perhaps because he''s a gentleman and felt that his comment might have been taken the wrong way so he did what any gentleman would do...he apologized.

Might be nice to hear Bush apologize for the all the garbage he''s said over the past 8 years. But I guess you can''t really expect that from a man who doesn''t have a clue what a gentlemen is.

-----"I think it is shameful that a poster below referred to former President Clinton as Bubba, and I was shocked to see this put in a graphic on a new channel last night. No American president should be so disrespected. In the Bush Administration they laid down to the press that George Bush shall be referred to as The President within months of his administration, and demanded respect for the Office of the Presidency. Shameful the Republicans show a double standard with demanding respect for this president but not a previous president (even after 7 years of failures, and astounding damage to our economy, national debt, and goodwill around the world.)"-----

I don''t mean to be mean, but do you use the sanctimoniousness to shore up the low self-esteem you have from being slow on the take? I''m a Democrat, not a Republican . . . and you quite frankly don''t come across as a respectful individual, so I''d be shocked if you were actually shocked by disrespectfulness because people tend to reap what they sow . . .

Too bad Bush didn''t bother to give the office the same amount of respect he demanded from others. Bush is a criminal, just like Nixon was. If he had any real respect for the office he would resign and leave the country. I guess it won''t really matter though, his only legacy will be as the worst president in US history.

I don''t think Fox should turn it into a scandle but boy do I hate it when people call me sweetie or honey that are not close relatives! Grrrrrrrrrrr Obama is a patronizing jerk. This fits with the creepy things about people in rural areas clinging to guns and religion. This "boy" need a little reeducation methinks.

Barack Obama Lovers
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. By Abraham Lincoln. Barack Obama is trying to fool all of the people all of the time. However in November Mr. Obama will find out he%u2019s not fooling all of the people. He will never be elected President.
