GOP Candidate Outlines Vision For First Term Says Iraq War Can Be Won, Osama Bin Laden Dead Or Caught
- McCain on talking to Hammas 2 years ago: "They''''re the government; sooner or later we are going to have to deal with them, one way or another, and I understand why this administration and previous administrations had such antipathy towards Hamas because of their dedication to violence and the things that they not only espouse but practice, so . . . but it''''s a new reality in the Middle East. I think the lesson is people want security and a decent life and decent future, that they want democracy. Fatah was not giving them that."

Why do you people continue to repeat the lies of George Bush? It''s so sad to watch and listen to people like you, who have been lied to over and over and over... PROVEN LIES but you just keep it up! Bush was LYING to you about fighting them there or here so he could keep up this vain attempt to play God. He wanted to "Give" these proud people a Government that HE wanted, knowing American''s would NEVER sit still for that. It''s not embarrassing to buy into a LIE like Bush told, especially if you are scared but when it''s shown to be a lie as big as this one, it becomes embarrassing. - Reply to this comment
- McCain is unbelievable. Already the War in Iraq has gone longer than WWII. Now he says it can be won by 2013 if he were president. If that is the case, for sure Iraq will end up being one of the longest and most expensive wars in US history.
If John McCain gets elected those in the American voting public that cast a vote for him will deserve everthing that comes from a McCain presidency.
To be sure it will the continuation of some of the major Bush failed policies. Whether one is a republican, democrat or independent, the overall consensus seems to be a dissastisfaction with the direction of the Nation. Sen. John McCain both as a candidate for president and member of Congress represents some if not most of that. - Reply to this comment
- THE NAZIS ATTACK ON POLAND IN 1939 WAS PROMOTED IN THE SAME WAY AS THE BUSH ATTACK ON IRAQ IN 2003!
NAZIS FACED WAR CRIMES TRIALS!
BUSH AND HIS NEOCON BUDDIES WILL FACE WAR CRIMES TRIALS!

Lawyers File War Crimes Charges Against Rumsfeld And Others
In German Court
By Michael Ratner
29 November, 2006
Revolution
On November 14, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), the International Federation for Human Rights, Germany''s Republican Attorneys'' Association, and other groups and individuals filed a formal complaint with the German Federal Prosecutor to open an investigation and, ultimately, a criminal prosecution of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other major U.S. officials. The complaint argues that Rumsfeld and other high-ranking civilian and military officials named as defendants in the case have committed war crimes, and in particular torture, against prisoners in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay. Following is an interview Revolution did with Michael Ratner, president of the CCR, who was among those in Germany on November 14 to file the complaint.

- Since there is no definition of ''VICTORY'', how in the h*ll can McSame declare it? He has realized that Obama is right about this being "a war that should never have been" and is now trying to pry himself loose from Bush, but it''s too late for that! He KNOWS Obama is the leader that this country WANTS and deserves, and he is playing ''follow the leader''! THAT WILL JUST NOT WORK - HE FAILS [MISERABLY]!
WHERE ARE MCSAME''S MEDICAL RECORDS? - Reply to this comment
- I believe the name of McSame''s game is "FOLLOW THE LEADER"!!! Go along with our Dem nominee because the GOP KNOW he is RIGHT ON THE WAR! McSame is certainly NOT ORIGINAL; he has had to change his mind on the war because he KNOWS this war was WRONG FROM THE START. So now he is following our Dem leader!
BTW, WHERE ARE MCSAME''S MEDICAL RECORDS???? - Reply to this comment
- McCain said the same thing as a young lieutenant in the Civil War.

- McCain was ill advised to give this speech. In the general election, the Democratic nominee and the 537''s will hammer him over the head with it in a large way.
Essentially, McCain conceded the election without
knowing it. - Reply to this comment
- More proof that the best President is a dead President. My vote''s going to Pat Paulsen in ''08.

- The triangulation is off the charts lately - McLame''s for withdrawal from Iraq! He supports women and families! Why can''t we all get along? Let''s hug a tree!
It''s totally making McLame look like a pandering phony - blech! - Reply to this comment
- bush/cheney put us in an impossible situation when they started this war. Of course we can''t just pack up and leave, without stability or a trained standing army it would just open the door for Iran or other Mid-East countries to invade. Thanks to the current administration, there is no stability of any kind in the region. The next DEMOCRATIC administration has a heck of a mess to clean up, so whining that they don''t have a plan to bring the troops home any sooner is sour grapes, period.

- Five more years of our young men and women dying for no legitimate reason. bush/cheney''s war will haunt us for years with the combat zone deaths, the delayed mortal wounds deaths, the suicides, the long-term health crisis, the financial cost, the cost to our reputation and interaction with other nations, the anger of citizens, the arguments and the lies. Nice of McCain to give us hope for some kind of end. (deep sigh) I just get angrier and angrier. Vote out the death machine that flies under the GOP banner.

- McBush: For meeting with Hamas before he was against it.
RUBIN: "Do you think that American diplomats should be operating the way they have in the past, working with the Palestinian government if Hamas is now in charge?"
McBUSH: "They''re the government; sooner or later we are going to have to deal with them, one way or another, and I understand why this administration and previous administrations had such antipathy towards Hamas because of their dedication to violence and the things that they not only espouse but practice, so . . . but it''s a new reality in the Middle East. - "McCain: Most Troops Can Be Home By 2013"
What this self admitted economically inept, PTSD stricken neocon-derthal doesn''t realize is that the US economy, even at the current level of corruption, cannot last until 2013, and when he begins military hostilities against Iran, the US economy will collapse overnight. - Reply to this comment
- God help us with any of the three contenders or the congressional representives who have their pockets lined by the lobbyist. It has been over 25 years since the first economic recession was brought about by energy and inflation with no new initivates.
