NARAL Pro-Choice America Had Supported Rival Clinton Throughout Her Political Career
- Abortion group endorses Obama" Gee, ya think? What''''s not to like? He supports killing partially born babies if the mother changes her mind at the last second. What a hero!

Now lets see... a group who does NOT agree with the "Party" on a Woman''s right to make decisions about her OWN body, supports a canidate and YOU say he supports Killing Babies? Now folks this is FASCISM at it''s most basic. Anyone who is indorsed or supports a group that these flaming NAZI''s don''t agree with is guilty of MURDER! The FACT that it''s a LIE does NOT matter! We as a nation can not survive with freaks like this in charge of our government let alone find common ground in solving all our problems. Sieg Heil Robertson!! - Reply to this comment

- Oh, and another thing. Speaking of the death penalty. Before Washington or Congress can make abortion illegal, they MUST, MUST, MUST make killing a pregnant woman at any stage of pregnancy a double capital murder. So what if the perpetrator doesn''t know?

- Death is not pretty in the womb or in Iraq. Just toss the fetus in the can and walk away from your unborn child. I''''m afraid we''''ve lost our ability to be ashamed. there are 1.3 million abortions performed every year. That''''s ten times the number of: Traffic Deaths + Hand Guns Deaths in America. America, Where is your outrage? YOU''''RE AS SILENT AS THE CHILD IN THE WOMB.

-Ok, another comment. I agree. I am so disgusted by women who bother to bring a child to term, deliver, and throw the living, breathing baby into a dumpster or trash bag, that I could pull my hair out. I think an act like this IMHO is much worse than abortion. There are safe havens everywhere. There is adoption. And yes, currently abortion is legal, so why give birth, allow the baby to breathe and become a member of society just to ''throw it away?'' People who do this should get the death penalty. - Reply to this comment

Therefore, I support a pro-choice government. Not pro-abortion, just pro-choice. Let the Maker be the judge, not Congress, or the President. - Reply to this comment

- I have a few comments below:
So, in sum, though I fundamentally disagree with abortion in the way it seems to be utilized most, I believe that Washington should not dictate the morality of a personal health choice for anyone.
I believe it should be a personal matter between a woman, father, family and God, (or whatever religious figure their beliefs follow, if any). It is up to God''s judgement, not Washington''s. - Reply to this comment
- First, see below....
I really first thought about the matter of abortion when I was pregnant with my son who is 6 months old. Yes, I am married and he was planned and wanted.
However, as any responsible mom would do, I researched all kinds of possible issues that could come up during the pregnancy. While I didn''t allow myself to worry about them, I wanted to be aware.
There are a few disorders/diseases that if known, personally, I feel it is better to consider terminating a pregnancy. One of these I believe is Tay-Sachs disease, if I''m correct. This disease is nearly 100% fatal within a few days of birth. The baby struggles to breathe until he can breathe no more. This is one instance, that I feel, if known, personally I believe for myself that it is more humane to put the child at rest before putting him through the stress of childbirth just to struggle and die. Just personally, in an instance like this, I might consider abortion, but fortunately we were not faced with that issue.
I do not condemn mothers and families in this type of situation who choose to see the pregnancy through in any way. I just think it should be a personal matter between a mother and her beliefs. Just not mandated by Washington. - Reply to this comment
- Fundamentally, I disagree with abortion. I don''t think its right for teens (or anyone) to have abortions as their method of birth control after repeatedly putting themselves in the position of getting pregnant over and over again. If you don''t want the kid, don''t do the nasty.
However, there have been a few instances where I support a right to choose. A 10-year old victim of rape being forced to bear a child. A mom with 6 or 8 fetuses being asked medically to selectively reduce in order to save her life and those of the healthier fetuses.
I never personally thought about abortion myself, except that I felt it was fundamentally wrong, but it is not my right to force my beliefs on others. It is not my right to judge.
More coming.... - Reply to this comment
- If, like me, you don''''t believe in abortion, you should never have one. But don''''t force your choice and your morality on others.

-My mom said something years ago that has stuck with me. She doesn''t think it''s the government''s right or responsibility to mandate whether abortion is moral or amoral. This, I agree with. Furthermore, she said that a bunch of suits (men) in Washington calling the shots regarding a woman and her private healthcare decisions is wrong. I agree there too. You will see my personal views on abortion, but they differ. - Reply to this comment
- 28 million women at risk of unwanted pregnancy
Last month the National Center for Health Statistics reported there were almost 6.4 million pregnancies in 2004, down 6 percent from 1990. Forty-five percent were to women who were not married, and there were 1.22 million abortions and 1.06 million stillbirths and miscarriages.

Religions have lost the power they once held, and we can''t be happier. Supposedly this group cares about the unborn, but they are the last to advocate medical care for all after they''re born. Religion''s constant threat of hell certainly doesn''t sound pro-life either. - Reply to this comment

Then why are you still here? Or better yet...why is everybody else here except for you? That is your version of a perfect world, isn''t it. The fewer the better, especially if the ''fewer'' is just you.
