- As a conservative, I find myself siding with many of the new Democrats I''m hearing about lately. They, including this guy, are conservative Democrats. In the 2004 election, many of the Democrats that won were more conservative than the Republicans they replaced. I am in favor of conservatism, whether it has a (D) or an (R) after it.

So let me see here.. we need to IGNORE the Positions of the Democrat Canidates on TRADE, that has taken FAR more jobs from American''s than any one from Mexico, Social Security, which so many now must count on for retirement, Medicare, in hopes that seniors will NOT have to made decisions between treatment and food, our Medical System, which cost us over TWICE our nearest friend pre covered person because??? They voted against an Imagration Bill that the FASCIST themselves couldn''t pass and they had the majority? Makes PERFECT SENSE!! You need to soak YOUR head swastika hugger... Honest... go soak YOUR head!! Sieg Heil Bush - Reply to this comment
- The Liberals in the media are at it again. This "Democrat" is actually a very conservative Republican running on the Democrat ticket.
The media is misleading America once again.
Most Democrats are conservative compared to the Bush Administration.

- I can''''t wait till the Dimwitocratic convention and it self destructs like it almost did in 1968. They give the nomination to Hillary and the riots in the streets start. They give the nomination to Nobama and the Hillary supporters flock to the GOP. Either way it''''s goodbye forever to the tax and spend, social programing Dimwitocrats.

- Just a road bump in the road to victory for McCain.
With things as rosy as they are in the country, why should we change direction?
Gas at $4 a gallon.
4072 killed in Iraq.
$3 trillion squandered in Iraq.
Heck we need four more years of the same!
Go McCain Go!
94 MORE YEARS 94 MORE YEARS!

Guess they packed their bags and headed home. - Reply to this comment
- Could it have something to do with the fact that republicans are not "republicans" any more. Not to mention, the blatant, in your face, corruption coming from the party, lead by the White House, and the shreading of the U.S. Constitution (that "*** piece of paper") through "interpretation". Safety over liberty is not the American way and should never be. We have come well on our way these last several years to becoming an authoritarian state and the people making the rules have stacked the deck so that killing Americans and stealing their tax dollars isn''t even a crime never mind punishable. We''ve, during the GOP several years in control, taken huge strides backwards in human rights, environmental protection, and the health and protection of our citizen from bribed officials. Americans have been shafted by the GOP at just about every turn with the Bush Regime, and it looks like they have every intention of milking the system right up to the very last second they are in office.

- spin away *** younger , the fact is competence matters , honesty matters , and the voters, not posters on this site, are making very clear what they prefer.Every time a republican in a safe district gets spanked by the voters in their district , rationalize it, spin it,take another sip of that kool-aid , turn Rush back on. Come this fall a wave of angry American voters are coming at the republicans, and a candidate that promises another 4 more years on top of 8 years of failed policies is not laible to be who they are voting for .

- Mr. Childers needs to understand (and will be made to understand by his backers) that if he votes for gun control, increased taxes, or abortion rights once he becomes a Congressman, he will pay the price in the next election, or earlier, if Mississippi has a recall process. Democrats must understand that these so-called "upset elections" have been won by conservative Democrats, not liberals. They will not buck their constituents, no matter how much pressure Ms. Pelosi applies. Be ever so careful, Democratic leaders!
