Then why is she losing to Obama? How can she says she will beat McCain in the fall when she can''t even beat Obama in the spring? - Reply to this comment

- Omaar-101, So West Virginians are all stupid...I guess California, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Texas, New Mexico, Indiana, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania are all populated by ignorant people. These states hold people who have the good sense not to be lead down the primrose path by a novice politician who makes good speeches.

- As a child I once read a book entitled: "The Portrait of Dorian Gray." It was the story of an immoral man who remained as handsome as ever for many, many years. In fact, he never appeared to age. Then one day his portrait, painted when he was in the prime of his life, was discovered and removed from a closet. The man pictured in the portrait was grotesquely ugly. When this portrait was exposed to the light of day, all of the ugliness was transferred to the real person: Dorian Gray. I think of that story every time I see Hillary.

- WillieofTenn, Democrats are saying they won''t vote for Obama; they say they''ll vote for McCain even if it means four more years of Bush economics. That may be incredible to you, but that is what they are saying and the Democrats should listen.
Obama''s red states and caucus wins don''t mean diddly squat. Hillary has shown that she can win the swing states. No Democrat since 1916 has been elected if West Virginia didn''t go for them and Ohio is the same way. They are bellwether states. It scares me that Obama did not win these states. Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and other swing states are not going to be easy to win, but Hillary could win them easily. - Reply to this comment

2. Only Florida has a Higher Percentage of Seniors.
3. Big Note, A Mere (16 Percent of West Virginians hold a College Degree), the Lowest Percentage in the Nation, and (25 Percent Lack a High School Diploma.
4. West Virginia also Ranks near the Bottom Nationally in Median Household Income.

Hillary`s Toast !!!
1. Delegate Math Favors Obama
2. But increasingly, the superdelegates are moving into the Obama camp. (He gained 30 in just the past week), negating any advantage Clinton might have had from the (16) or more pledged delegates she won in West Virginia.
3. So while the drubbing in West Virginia may be embarrassing for Obama, he still leads Clinton by any tangible measurement: pledged delegates, superdelegates and the popular vote, and there just arent enough contests left for her to catch up.
4. Big Note, And while Obama is setting new fundraising records, Clinton`s campaign debt is estimated to be more than $20 million and rising.
5. In a conference call Tuesday, Roy Romer, a superdelegate and former chair of the Democratic Party, announced his support for Obama, saying, "This race, I believe, is over." Its up to Clinton, he said, to decide when to drop out.- Reply to this comment

- "I don''''t care what she does. I want a winner. And Obama is not one!!!"

Wow - how do you figure Hillary Clinton to be a winner? She has lost every measure of this primary. And that is from a starting position as the "presumptive nominee" with a 120 super delegate lead, the entire Clinton political machine at her disposal, etc. How do you see her as a "winner"? I''m seriously baffled. You can say you like her better, but by any measure, she is not a winner. - Reply to this comment
- Wrong: The Supreme Court has held that it would be fraud for a candidate to seek contribution for him/herself and then give those funds to another candidate. The only thing a candidate in Obama''''s situation can do is have a fund raiser for the other candidate, if he so chooses. And as I was typing this, it was reported that Howard Dean has announced a joint fund-raiser for the DNC. The commentator said this was probably part of a deal to retire Hillary''''s campaign debt.

- sesanders - You are incorrect. People like you will not vote for Obama and that is just fine. You have McCain to vote for if you want another "100 years in Iraq", war with Iran, and the over-turning of Roe v. Wade. The people have and will continue to vote for Senator Obama and that''s why he is winning by every metric.
