Comments on: Clinton Camp Opposes Mich. Delegate Plan
State Party's Plan Would Give Clinton 69 Delegates And Obama 59 Delegates
- Clinton makes personal appeal to Obama on delegates
WASHINGTON (CNN) %u2014 Hillary Clinton made a personal appeal to Barack Obama Thursday to work with her to make sure Florida and Michigan Democrats votes are counted in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
She made the appeal in a letter that was made public by her campaign. - Reply to this comment
- Just another shining example as to why she won''t be the nominee. She has been adamant that the Michigan delegation has to be seated. Now that a fair and equitable plan has been put forth it really isn''t that important that they be seated and their "voices heard". What is important is that she get full credit for a primary where she was the only person on the ballot.
This has been a sham from the beginning and shows clearly once again that Hillary is only interested in Hillary. Remeber folks she wants everyones vote to count - until she needs the superdelegates to completely ignore all those votes and the will of the people to allow her to be the nominee.
Ridiculous, and embarassing for her.

- She''''s a friggin'''' idiot - and if you believe her BS, then so are you.
She wants ALL of the delegates for herself, and NONE for Obama. That''''s the ONLY way that she''''s going to win, and that''''s the ONLY outcome that she''''ll accept.

- "The scenario would see Clinton continuing her campaign all the way to the Democratic National Convention in Denver in late August -- arguing that she would be the stronger nominee against Sen. John McCain -- and mounting challenges before the party''''s credentials committee over the seating of Michigan and Florida delegates."
Boom! And right there is where he will be hit the hardest because he broke DNC rules and can''''t claim a vote from Florida and Michigan, whereas she will claim hers and prove she can win it.
Obama is pushing so hard for it to end before convention because he KNOWS he can''''t win it at convention.
Hillary get to convention and have his arse disqualified from those votes! Use his own principles of elimination, just like he used it on his opponents in Illinois and got them all disqualified!
Show him his dirty politics right back in his face! - Reply to this comment
- It''s not up to her how Michigann chooses to award their delegates. She could go to court to sue for 4 delagates, but since her campaign has no money she''ll need attornies willing to work pro bono for a multi millionaire.
Senator Obama, please save us from this sop opera! Give her 4 of your delegates just to shut her up. None of the above won''t mind. - Reply to this comment

This should be funny listening to all of the Hillary supporters on here today, after listening to them cry about how Obama was - personally, himself - keeping the MI and Fl delegates from counting.
Even though it WASN''T TRUE at that time, the Clinton camp disenfranchising them NOW is undisputed.
Go ahead Hillary supporters - tear her up like you did Obama!!!! - Reply to this comment
- I didn''t even read this article completely. All I, and many people I know want,is for the CLINTON''S TO SLITHER BACK INTO THEIR HOLE! According to GMA, Barack JUST WENT AHEAD IN SUPERDELEGATES 267 - 265!! What else is there for him to accomplish to get the nomination? I''ll tell you what, Hell-ery needs to be "woman enough" to admit defeat, stop making "racist" remarks to USA Today, talking about how she has the "white"vote, AND, "Slick-Willie" played the "race card" yesterday in W.Virginia. He subtly said, we need "people like you",(whites) to continue to support Hell-ery. Several news articles have said that "Slick-Willie" "Dismisses" Barack Obama. He "can''t stand" Barack! He''s a "hater"! He doesn''t want Barack to become the "REAL FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT". He''s jealous because Barack is young and dashing, like he "used" to be. He "can''t stand" the fact that blacks have supported Barack, instead of him and Hell-ery. Black folk have taken the blinders off. They see from the unnecessary, negative campaign against Barack, that the Clintons "pretended" to be so "cool" with black folk, because they, NEEDED THEIR VOTES, BOTH TIMES! They counted on the black vote for Hell-ery, but it didn''t happen! And they "can''t stand it! Washington insiders believe the Clinton''s are trying to DESTROY Barack, so he can''t win in November, and Hell-ery can come back in 2012. I believe it too. If she thinks black folk are going to FORGET, the side of her they saw, she''s bought one-too-many pantsuits!

- The only reason Hillary has not pulled out yet is obvious.
She has LOANED her campaign nearly $12 million dollars; at the moment there is not enough money in her campaign to repay her, if she quits then the donations stop, which means she has a problem recovering her millions.
However if she is clever she can continue and keep making requests for donations from foolish Clinton supporters.
Once enough gullible people have made donations and there is enough money to pay her back THEN suddenly she will announce that she is quitting for the good of the Party !
Does that make sense to you Clinton supporters?
Now go to her website immediately and pay back her loans! - Reply to this comment
- Obama has won the nighest count in popular vote - so far. Obama has won the highest number of pledged delegates - so far. All that''s left is the super delegates - the ones who are actually going to choose the nominee regardless of the popular vote or the number of pledged delegates. Clinton may win West Virginia, but it shouldn''t be by much. NO one of my acquaintance is gonna vote for her after she accused Obama of being elitist when he pointed out that the working class folk are bitter and angry. We ARE bitter and angry! What else should we be, after losing our jobs to outsourcing and losing our homes to crooked lenders - we aren''t exactly pleased with things the way they are now in America. And all of Bill Clinton''s NAFTA promises about how it was going to make things better for America turned out to be pure, unadulterated hogwash, didn''t. Undiluted bellywater. Clinton will probably hang on until she makes such a fool of herself she''ll have to bow out of public life altogether.

- Jesterbelle - you asked "How can you have a nomination process and not count all the votes?" and the answer is that you can only count the VALID votes. People who voted against the rules don''t have VALID votes to be counted. Michigan and Florid made their choice to have their primaries in January, and the DNC warned them ahead of time not to do that because it would invalidate their votes - their delegates wouldn''t count. So we hold a vote by counting every VALID vote and by throwing out every INVALID vote.

Thanks. I''ll check out 2007. I''m running XP and am very happy with it. From everything I''ve heard about Vista I''m not eager to go in that direction. Same with IE. I like 6 and hated 7. I also HATE paying fopr software! I use OpenOffice instead of Office and it works great. - Reply to this comment
