Presumptive GOP Nominee Castigates Obama For Voting Against Supreme Court Chief Justice
- [And somehow that means Gore won??? ***? You are simply outside of any logical position on this issue. You can''''t accept the FACT that Bush won. Gore did not win any of the recounts did he! ]

what is the matter w/ you? who said gore won? show me the post where i said gore won. show me one of my post where i even have the word ''gore'' (aside from reposting somebody elses obsession w/ gore).
nobody won florida ... cause there''s no way to tell. why did each count produce a different value? explain it to me?
[Margin of error consideration has NEVER had any play in elections. Know why? Because just like sports, If I have 2 on the scoreboard and you have 1... I WIN! There is no margin of error. Get a grip.]
whatever you say ... good to see you have mastered 1 and 2.
when do you plan to move on to the multi-digit values ... it gets a bit tougher there. - Reply to this comment
- and back in REALITY LAND - UBS plans to cut 5,500 jobs but unemployment is "looking better", the market closed Friday at 13,058 and closed today at 13,020 and somehow that''''s called a "market rise" of 51 points.
Gotta love that NEOCON math.

Yeah a bit simplistic on your math there.. So how many jobs were created? That would factor into the unemployment rate. Or are you telling me that no one got hired today? And you also conveniently left out what it was at yesterday.
How about you Dems crying Recession! There is no recession. A recession is when we have 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth. We just saw that we had a gain in growth, minimal.. Yes but a gain. SOOO, looks like you need to do your math better. - Reply to this comment

- McBush need not concern himself with judges.
As much as I''''d like to see Obama win this nomination, I believe that having it go to the wire is helping to get MILLIONS of new voters on the Dems registration and mailing lists.
Come November there will be a tidal wave sweep over the GOP that we haven''''t seen the likes of in a long, long time. It will make that little rogue wave that we saw in 2006 seem puny by comparison.
Pelosi''''s decision to take impeachment off the table forced the GOP to run around with their pants down around their ankles, from one blunder to the next. Stripped naked for all to see.
They won''''t be back in power for a long, long, long, time. Hopefully NEVER.
Good riddance. - Reply to this comment

- Here''''''''s our dilemma. The conservatives operate by deception and disinformation. They play dirty. If we play that game, we risk being like them and that''''''''s repugnant because that means they will have already succeeded. If we don''''''''t, they continue to make gains because some people, more than a few, can be fooled time after time. Let''''''''s just fight for truth and reason

So true, so true. Nice post.

Hmm. And Dems never lie do they. How about, '' I landed in Bosnia under sniper fire.''
''I didn''t know that Rev Wright harbored that kinda of hatred for the 20 yrs i listened to him in church''
''I did not have sexual relations with that woman''
The list can go on and on.. Point is, Politicians are politicians. They all lie and if you think otherwise, you deserve what you get! - Reply to this comment

That''s the one thing that the left has going for it. Reality is reality no matter which side of the aisle you are on, and reality has been the GOPs biggest enemy. The reality that Iraq is Pandora''s Box; the reality that tax-cuts combined with increased spending leads to economic instability; the reality that making the poor poorer will drag down the middle and upper-middle classes, the reality that turning America into a theocracy will dumb down the people, drive away our scientists, and make us a laughing stock in other industrailized nations; and the reality that not investing in your country will result in just overall decay.
Most people over about 25 years old know that America is not the same place we grew-up in. Years of mismanagement by the American people has resulted in an America that seems to have run out of inspiration, which was always its greatest strength. - Reply to this comment

- they wouldn''''''''t be any different ... claiming a winner w/ a count within margin of error is invalid.
what''''''''s pathetic is your complete denial of the facts ... i thought you conservatives were so fact based ... no emotion ... only facts.
so what''''''''s the problem?

Stupid Stupid stupid.. Margin of error huh.. Ok so the physical count clearly showed, not once, not twice but THREE TIMES!, that Bush won Florida. And your argument is that it was within a margin of error. And somehow that means Gore won??? ***? You are simply outside of any logical position on this issue. You can''t accept the FACT that Bush won. Gore did not win any of the recounts did he! Margin of error consideration has NEVER had any play in elections. Know why? if you mean an invalid vote within margin of error ... it has nothing to do w/ politics ... or candidate ... or what positions they take. it applies to monkeys, martians, or mandolins.
if you mean something else you''ll have to clarify what ''that'' is. - Reply to this comment

I''m not so sure. It''s on our coins, our bills, our Pledge of Allegiance, and a tax free political machine (church) on nearly every street corner.

Please make a better distinction.
I am mostly an independent but at times conservative - especially concerning BALANCED fiscal budgets.
Being conservative is not a bad trait in itself.
Being self-serving to the point it hurts everybody and calling it conservative is a misnomer and a much more questionable thing.
It''s sort of like that direction MISNOMER the GOP has robbed called "right". In doing so they CLAIM the moral high ground and indulge in immorality under it''s banner.
I prefer the current name of NEOCON as that seems to fit MUCH BETTER in so many ways. - Reply to this comment
