- Is Obama, like BUSH going to go over to China with his hand out and put us into billions more debt so we can just hand it over to foreigners and not support our own people?
Obama reminds me more of BUSH every day! - Reply to this comment
- Rowdy,,,,, Don''t take words from the mouth of others & put it in Obama''s mouth ---- He disowened Wright the very next morning for saying that.

- I have listened and I am not moved. He has not given me hope. Here I am in the rust belt and loyal and long suffering democrat who loves the arts and loves my life in this wonderful rural area and all I hear is more of the same from Obama. Just hollow sweet talk.

- Rowdy,,,, Sunshine, we need to be delivering trillions to underdeveloped nations ---- Al Queda thrives in underdeveoped nations.
It would do a hell of alot more to defete the ideaology of Terrorsism than continued bombing & destablization.

Oh right! Al Queda is a group of mercenaries created by the United States. When Bush goes away there will likely be no more Al Queda.
How long did it take you look that garbage up! We don''t HAVE $845 billion EXTRA when we''re already giving billions!
Stop making excuses for this man who hasn''t a freaking clue execept promoting himself. - Reply to this comment

- Now Hillary is really way too involved in the corporate world and her connections to big business are pretty disgusting. On the other hand she has a very strong power base and can exert allot of control over the Democratic party and through her corporporate cout. What we know is she probably will not depart from her husbands philosophy too much and that served this country pretty well. We also know she cares very deeply for the country and for the down trodden.
What I know is politics are about compromise and power. There is NOTHING pretty or romantic about politics. It has always been and will always be an ugly thing but its real. It is blood and guts and basic to human nature. No one wants to break humanity down to the animal basics but that is what politics do.
I honestly don''t think Obama has what it takes to navigate in the stinking slime of American politics. Honestly if we take away his black skin is he any different in anything he says or does that a very basic white male candidate? I say no. I think Edwards showed more leadership skill and guts. I think Obama is the flavor of the month and I don''t think that is enough. Obama is another lawyer with another ivy league education with a same male outlook with the same old smug self confidence of youth I have seen a million times. Hillary is older, she has been kicked around allot and she still cares about people. She is a women. For this reason I have to go for Hillary Clinton hands down! - Reply to this comment

- OK lets talk real basic now and cut through the bull. Most of you are really on the same side as me so I don''t like being antagonistic. This is how I break down this horse race. We got Osama the young idealist who has no track record and has shown some real lapses in judgment. We have Hillary who we know pretty well because of her position as first lady, her work on health care and from her track record as a NY Senator. Then we have John McCain who is a basically a good man but who is so entrenched in military culture he can''t see reality and he is stuck firmly in the 1950s. Thirdly he has one foot in the grave and already is showing signs of senility. He could never control his own party they are too mired in the mess Bush and Co.has made.

Yes, or NO. Do you think giving $845 billion EXTRA dollars in foreign aid is a good idea when we can''''t even give our own people 18 cents on a gallon of gas for four months?

This is an idea dreamed up by Obama and Joe Biden, whom I once admired, but now looks like a total ignoramous, just to get Obama a freaking piece of legislation on the books!
We want to give $845 billion EXTRA dollars in foreign aid, and then cry out that we can''t give Americans 18 cents on a gallon of gas four four months!!!!
Again, what kind of ******** idea is that? - Reply to this comment

- J-Whitman, now does that make sense to you, giving $845 billion EXTRA dollars in foreign aid, when we can''t even give our own people 18 cents on a gallon of gas because it would destroy our road and bridge funds!
Yes, or NO! - Reply to this comment
- The man goes out and poo poo giving our people 18 cents a gallon on gas, yet wants to take my money and give it to foreigners....$845 billion EXTRA!!!
