This political campaign shows, with each passing day, that this race is really a battle of good vs. evil. Aided and abetted by the media, there are many in this country who see integrity as a sign of weakness. These same people share a perverse respect for gutter politics, seeing strength in dirty smear tactics and believing this to be the sure way to win against McCain. But make no mistake, the Republicans would not run so clean a campaign as Obama. The skeletons in the Clintons'' closet would emerge with a deafening rattle.

For instance.... There are two reasons why the ongoing fraud court case against the Clintons (Paul vs. Clinton) is unknown to most Americans. One is because the media has chosen, for whatever reasons, to not report this bombshell. Two is because Obama has stood by his promise to run a clean campaign and has not indulged in the sort of gutter politics enjoyed by the Clinton campaign. Don''t think for one minute that the Republicans would take the high road here.

The mentality that sees strength in petty, unscrupulous bullying is the same mentality that elected Bush-Cheney to a second term. Yes, there are many in this country who see integrity as weakness, and who see strength in ruthless, greedy powermongering. But I believe that there are far more who crave the integrity of character necessary to going against the status quo and, for the first time in decades, doing the right thing.

Hillary will solve all of our economic problems by bribing us $25!

Voters in IN and NC who believe Hillary: I have a bridge in Manhattan I would like to sell - for a low low price.

Obama is trying to push through a bill right now that gives $845 more billion to foreign aid efforts!

Now does that sound fiscally responsible?

We have millions in the US who can''t afford health care, millions without job needing assistance, millions losing their homes and we just bailed out with billions of dollars to prop up financial guru''s.

Our infrastructure is failing, and the Obama IDIOT wants to deny independent trucking families a few weeks of relief from gas tax. Yet he wants to send billions in foreign aid and weapons to other countries!

Why don''t we take that $845 billion and replace the money that would give our families some relief!

THE MAN IS AN IDIOT!

When lived in DC backin the early 80s Marion Barry(the crack head) was running for re-election against some great people. Right before the election Barry gave every home owner in DC these fantastic heavy duty Rubermaid outdoor trash cans. Guess who won the election? Right, the crack head.

This Gas tax thing is BS. Hillary and McCain are using a page right out of Marion Barry''s play book. It''s just a gimmick don''t fall for it.

Is Obama really going to give Africa , The Global Poverty Act" 845 billion dollars in 6 years? Thats going to cost us more than the war in Iraq. We will be starving all around if this bill is signed by the next President. What should we do to stop this use of our money? Do we feed a terrorist child today so tomorrow he can love us to death?
If Obama does this who will take care of the homeless right here in America? Who will help us with the medical bills? Who will help the economy? With all this money going to go to Africa, 845 billion dollars who will help you and I?To support this Global Poverty Act our disability payments must be cut back? I make $900 a month. It is planned to cut it back to $775 dollars!
What should we do?

"It must be nice for Senator Obama to live in such a way that a savings on gas of $25 or $30 in a season is nothing to him.

Posted by ERoosevelt08 at 11:43 PM : May 03, 2008"

It''s silly because it''s less money than you lose in change in the couch each day and in sending you your $30 check, you will end up paying twice that much...not very fiscally sound.

to ERoosevelt08 ; Stupid, this market! They will take of tax 0.18 next day, maximum 3 - companies will increase prices on that 0.18(or more) , as You already confirmed BEFORE, that You will pay it (with tax). So...It is the BEST and no likely to get even 25. Then it would be worse + loses in road building.

Think, please, it does not hurt - to think

I am outraged that Senator Obama has said the Gas Tax Holiday is Silly. Silly? It must be nice for Senator Obama to live in such a way that a savings on gas of $25 or $30 in a season is nothing to him.

And for households with two or more cars needing to be driven to different jobs, the savings per household goes up even more. Every dollar counts. It has comes down to a choice between gas and food. Some vague tax credit next year to those who don''t earn enough to pay income tax is no help at all. Senator Obama must live in a whole different world just for rich people.

OBAMAS HIDDEN AGENDA:
WELFARE FOR THE WORLD- Most importantly due to Black Theology- Africa.

Source:Newsmax.com (following)
the Global Poverty Act (S.2433). According to some conservative sources, this disastrous legislation could eventually force U.S. taxpayers to fork over as much as 0.7 percent of the nation''''s Gross Domestic Product -- or $845,000,000,000.00 -- on welfare to third-world countries.
***This is being sponsored by Senator Obama.

His true agenda is to TAX,TAX,TAX and promote Black Theology.

IS CHRIS MATTHEWS OF HARDBALL, A RACIST????

I have noticed everyday for the last two weeks Chris Matthrews on Hardball has brought up the Rev Wright Controversy without exception. Other media outlets have dropped this subject but not Mr Matthrews. So Mr. Matthrews, If you dont drop this issue I can come to only one conclusion.... Chris Matthrews is racist. He continues to ignore the Blunders and Bill Clinton and drops the issue of the Columbian trade matters regarding Mark Pen and Bill Clinton in one day. SO Mr Matthrews, Are you Racist? I feel I must ask this question till you become far and balanced and Unequivocally State for the record that you in fact or not Racist.

SORRY SORRY SORRY.
i SPOKE TOO SOON. Since then I have read the Millennium Summit report.

THERE ARE MAJOR CHANGES, some of which they eliminated the need for

Clearing the Slums: to endorse and act upon the ''Cities Without Slums'' plan launched by the World Bank and United Nations to improve the lives of 100 million slum dwellers by 2020.

Youth Employment: to develop strategies to reduce joblessness among youth

Africa: to make special provision for the needs of Africa, and to fully support Africans in their struggle to overcome the continent''s problems. Specifically, experts and foundations are urged to tackle the problem of low agricultural productivity in Africa

This has changed under S2433.

Now there are specifics that show the USA will do more than tackle the problem on low agriculture production, it will finance all the problems.

although I feel this should remain a United Nations problem and not the USA only problem. This is a far reach to assist poorer countries and is banking everything on Africa. What about the Latin nations, Asian Nations - no mention in this Act before the Senate, although it was in the Millenium Summit discussions.

You are right, this should be made public so that the people can see where our tax dollars are going. There are needy here at home, there are needy nations in the Middle East and Asia.

"he Global Poverty Act" Posted by ColoredNegro at 05:40 PM : May 03, 2008

i READ THE Act and there are minimal changes to the original know as the Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day.

Which states:

(2) At the United Nations Millennium Summit in 2000, the United States joined more than 180 other countries in committing to work toward goals to improve life for the world''s poorest people by 2015.

(3) The year 2007 marks the mid-point to the Millennium Development Goals deadline of 2015.

i Agree with Bush on this - he addressed this same issue in 2000. By bettering the dismal lives in poverty stricken areas is a plus for all of humanity.

We eat figs, and rice, and enjoy diamonds, and other things that come to us by the blood and starvation of others.

No this Act number S2433, is good. And Obama along with about 20 other Senators are right in presenting it. But the credit good or bad does not go to Obama alone. In there is also Mr. HAGEL, Ms. CANTWELL, Mrs. FEINSTEIN, Mr. LUGAR, Mr. DURBIN, Mr. MENENDEZ, Mr. BIDEN, Mr. DODD, Mr. FEINGOLD, Ms. SNOWE, Mrs. MURRAY, Mr. HARKIN, Mr. JOHNSON, Mr. SMITH, and Mr. KERRY
