Because if she does not win several of the remaining primaries with significant margins she will not have enough delegates to justify forcing the issue at the convention. The media has been talking about this for about 3 months now...where have you been? - Reply to this comment

Completely justifiable that you have a heightened sense of urgency when questions arise about terrorism. However we''ve had an administration that has been intentionally using that fact to cry wolf to get things passed with little or no oversight.
I would think, being from NY and seeing the towers go down, that you would have a particular desire to have your government actually try to get the mastermind of the attack rather than dismiss it is irrelevant. - Reply to this comment
- JoeCoolSwat,
But what are you really going to do about thunder and lighting, probably the same thing that you can do against terrorism? Nothing. It''s always going to be there, it will never go away, there is always going to be some group of people or some person that is p*ssed off.
You don''t go out and fight with the weather, you stay at home and protect yourself. That''s why we need to bring our troops home and protect our country from here, and not scattered across multiple war fronts. - Reply to this comment
- i can''''t wait for that day when Sen. Obama is sworn in as President of the United States. ha ha ha.. to see the looks on all you republican fools... hey, it will be you that will have to leave the country. your types are always saying, "if you don''''t like it, go to another country".... ah yes, revenge is sweetest served cold!!! ah ha ha ha ha ha ha...

I can''t wait for that day myself. But then again it''s bitter sweet - I live in NY. So when Obama is sworn in, that means that I''m stuck with Hillary and her "do nothing" senatorial career back in full swing.
Either she''s a president and I lose, or she''s my senator and I lose. I just lose less, if she''s "only" a senator. - Reply to this comment
- Yes, but when there is thunder and lightning, do you just walk around like nothing''s happening and just wait..do nothing...wait..sit back..America will then be "liked" around the world.

- the pundits, the media (which is big business and therefore republican), the republicans, hateful people everywhere, THEY WANT SO BAD FOR CLINTON TO WIN, because they know that either she will outright lose or the election against mccain will be so close they will pull their voting tricks again and steal yet another election... they know that mccain cannot win against Sen. Obama... clinton is perfect, people hate her and she is divisive which is EXACTLY what the repugs want...

- "It''''s idiotic because you believe that a boat with a nuclear bomb would just float into Los Angeles. You are so paranoid about terrorists that you can''''t think clearly.
Posted by alexma50085 at 03:47 PM : Apr 22, 2008"
The concept of floating a nuke on a boat into New York harbor is not fanciful at all. Millions of shipping containers travel into and out of US harbors every day and I heard recently that something like only 6% of shipping containers are presently inspected coming into the US. A shipping container could easily house a pretty massive nuke.
However, the concept of Iran shipping a nuke to the US is laughable. The concept of ANY sovereign nation doing so is absurd simply because it would be traced and it would spell their utter destruction. Iran is not a threat to us only to their neighbors in the region. The threat to the US comes from non national terrorist organizations like Al Quida. Perhaps if we had wiped out Al Quida in Afghanistan when we had the chance we wouldn''t be worrying about nukes floating into New York harbor. - Reply to this comment
- alexma50085..To be honest, being from New York and seeing 9/11 twin towers collapsing and unfolding in front of our eyes, while frantically unable to call my wife who worked uptown, does still linger in our minds and fear of terrorism is still a real thing.

But what kind of life is it to live in fear. I don''t doubt that terrorism is real, but so is getting struck by lighting, that doesn''t stop me from going out into the rain. - Reply to this comment

- Thin-skinned Obama will never be able to stand a general election.
Another thing, would someone please tell me why the media that all along has been propping up this unqualified 3-year Senator is now reporting all over the place that Hillary needs to win by over 10 points in order to "win"??? If they had been saying this about Obama, the Obamites would be charging "racism!" - Reply to this comment
- Hungry. You do have a point, and the elimination of Israel would most like be done by conventional weapons rather than nuclear. I agree.

Lied about what? He has been asked questions and he has answered them. Because you don''t like the answers does not make them lies it simply makes them not what you want to hear. Since you''ve plainly taken an anti-Obama stance it really doesn''t matter what he says, you will falsely claime it''s a lie simply because you are not smart enough to develop a counter-argument.
The fact is that you have nothing to prove he has lied about anything. Please feel free to post Obama stating one thing and then stating something completely different. And use his own words for once, the garbage you pull out of the tabloids that they made up are not quotes. - Reply to this comment
- Actually your wrong. They seek weapons to destroy the state of Israel. and the U.S. who supports them. It is not because of pre-emptive strikes against Iraq.
Posted by JoeCoolSwat at 03:47 PM : Apr 22, 2008
First, Iran is under Islamic decree by their supreme leader to NOT create or store nuclear weapons.
Second, Iran wants Israel gone so that the Palestinians can move "back home". Destroying Israel with nukes, would make that land uninhabitable by EVERYONE, which would really defeat the purpose of getting rid of Israel in the first place. - Reply to this comment
- The trouble is, his WORDS don''''t match his actions, except evidently where he''''s having his identity crisis, which is not my problem!

Hillary''s words don''t match her actions either.
Not to worry - the next time she''s pandering to a different crowd, she''ll change her position - AGAIN. - Reply to this comment
- If you haven''''t read his books, or researched Obama, or done ANYTHING but just listen to his purty words, then you can''''t even speak to knowing this MAN!
He''''s just a man that pulls his pants on one leg at a time, just like every other man.
The trouble is, his WORDS don''''t match his actions, except evidently where he''''s having his identity crisis, which is not my problem!

We have the right to ask this many anything if he wants to be our president! And since his actions belie his words. Then that presents him as not qualified to be president of this country!
