Question....This "elitist" thing is nothing but smoke and mirrors. You know that. Do you really believe that old John is just one of the boys? His wife had more money than anyone knows about and inherited all of it. John didn''t exactly come from the ghetto. None of these people are a dam bit better than you or me. They just got different breaks. If you feel you must judge someone, judge their character, not their wallet.

$4.2 million for the Obamas. By every standard defined as "Rich"

$20.4 mil for the Clintons in one year. = "Super Rich"

$405,409 for McCain. = Above middle class.

Now who would best have the means & qualifications for the title "elitist"?

crater7...Who really gives a ***** about who gave the most to charity? My concern is can any of the three of them lead the country. I want answers to the important issues that affect us all. I don''t care about who did what to whom in whose back yard. Let''s start asking the hard questions and demand some answers.

McCAIN DONATED NEARLY 25% OF HIS INCOME TO CHARITY.

THE CLINTON''S DONATED NEARLY 10% TO CHARITY.

ANYONE WANT TO GIVE THE PERCENTAGE OF INCOME THE OBAMA''S DONATED TO CHARITY?

GOD "BLESS" AMERICA. NOT "G D" AMERICA.

trap....I haven''t seen the latest polls but I did watch the so called debate. I thought it was a travesty. Most of the time was spent going over and over issues that to me are not that big a deal. I want to know exactly what these people intend to do about the war, the economy, the environment, education, health care, you know, that type of stuff. Let''s fact the facts. None of the three candidates are perfect. There are verifiable facts about each one that prove that statement. But we are going to have to elect one of them and I hope we get the right one. All three have good qualities and I, for one, am sick and tired of the sneers and jeers. Let''s just deal in facts. I know negative campaigning works but for the life of me I can''t understand why.

McCain''s basic lack of understanding about the situation in Iraq and on the economy automatically disqualify him from being Presidential material.

McCain quotes:

%u201CAl Qaeda is going back into Iran and is receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran.%u201D

"I don%u2019t understand how the economy works, I%u2019ve got to get a V.P. that will show me how it works."

Ongoing nomination fight Hurting Clinton more than Obama

By CHARLES BABINGTON and TREVOR TOMPSON, Associated Press Writers

WASHINGTON (AP) %u2014 In a dramatic reversal, an Associated Press-Yahoo! News poll found that a clear majority of Democratic voters now say Sen. Barack Obama has a better chance of defeating Republican Sen. John McCain in November than Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Democratic voters no longer see her as the party''s strongest contender for the White House.

Voters of all types have gotten a better sense of Obama, who was an obscure Illinois legislator just four years ago. As more people moved from the "I don''t know him" category in the AP-Yahoo!

But Obama''s positive ratings have climbed as well, while Clinton %u2014 widely known since the early 1990s %u2014 has been less able to change people''s views of her. And when those views have shifted, it has hurt her more than helped.

The New York Senator''s (Clinton) ratings for being honest, likable, ethical and refreshing have fallen since January, and Obama scores Higher than she does in All those Categories.

In late January, before Obama scored 11 straight Primary and Caucus victories, 56 percent of Democrats saw Clinton as the stronger nominee, compared to 33 percent for Obama. Now, Obama leads on that question, 56 to 43 percent.

The most encouraging sign for Obama is that many Democrats who previously saw Clinton as their Party''s best hope now give him that Role.

Obama is the best qualified for the position of President simply because he could sell ice cubes to eskimos.
