Candidate Says Working-Class Voters Have Given Up On Economic Help From Washington
- Why would I be offended by what Obama said? Its the honest to God Truth! Not such a hard pill for me to swallow.
But what is really amazing is all you Hillary followers listening to her about her gun shooting and church going ways.. she stated today when asked the last time she fired a gun and last time she attended church and refused to answer it. That is what makes me sick about her... she will try every lie in the book or tale to get voters to relate to her yet she cant relate NOW about it. In depth. Dont even TRY to relate to me if you cannot carry on a conversation about it in depth. Dont even try.. what a abuser of trying to fool people. - Reply to this comment
- Our founding documents are collecting dust.
I am a Obama Supporter but what I am writing about is not about whom we all choose to support, these issues are bigger than I don''t like Obama, I don%u2019t like Clinton Or I don''t like McCain.
What I am writing about is the fact the dollar is on the verge of becoming worthless and our once powerful military is being destroyed by power hungry foolish men whom have no regard for the American people%u2019s safety and our brave soldiers well being, while serving our country with their precious blood or upon returning home and in need of support/rehabilitation help from our government. Now that%u2019s truly unpatriotic behavior. Our fore fathers said this country was founded for the people and by the people but if we cannot, or will not stand together those profound words are useless. We have to bring the principals our fore fathers wrote about to life, we have to put or differences aside and stand together if %u201CWe the American People Will Prevail Against Our Enemies Foreign and Domestic. - Reply to this comment
- Can the real elitist stand up?
Clearly McCain and Clinton are the true Elitist; there are both millionaires, they feel the White House is their birth-right.
Senator Clinton lies to the American people and dares us to question her about her countless "misspeaks" or "lies", she as surrounded her campaign with trade lobbyist and expects the American people to believe she is against free-trade. By the way Free-trade stands for: all us Americans will be poor, just like those poor small town rural voters that have been voting social issues for the last sixteen years, while the Clinton%u2019s and Bush%u2019s have unmerciful sent their jobs overseas.
People wake up and smell the coffee. We are being duped again. The powers to be pull the wool over our eyes ever time. We get all worked up over social issues and we vote the wrong Politian in office. America our great country is bankrupt we are borrowing money from every country under the sun. Now the Clinton''s are poised to slip another one sided anti-America, Colombia Trade deal on all of us, I don''t care where you live Urban America or Small Town Rural America we will all share in the suffering of losing more jobs to countries we can''t compete with because their pay is so low. - Reply to this comment
- I agree with Obama.. I am BITTER.. I am ANGRY.. I dont feel my vote is worth sending in over the last few years. It didnt matter who I voted into office there were so many favors out there and everyone knew who was going to make it. It was going to stay the same ole washington either way.. only one would make more mistakes than the other. I am tired of the Old Washington.. No more Clintons No more Bushs... I believe we have enough mistakes for a lifetime. Time for a change! Go Obama

- Hey Omaar-101. Why don''''t you get off your knees and see the light. I used to like Senator Obama and was proactively involved in his grass root operations here in my home town, but his handling of his racist pastor truly opened up my eyes to his real colors and identity. Now you know how it feels to be called white trash and a white N****! Senator Obama wants to have it his way. He doesn''''t like to be discriminated against, but his family pours thoussands of dollars into a Church that preaches racism, hatred, and the descruction of America. Senator Obama campaigns that he''''s like me and the rest of the middle class, but why did he wait so long to say something about his pastor or why did he degrade me as a white middle class in his speech yesterday? This has nothing to do with my views, but it has alot to do with Senator Obama''''s double racist standards. I am truly offended by his accusations. Senator Obama did not have a slip of the tongue, but he is a RACIST! His wife stated that she is embarassed of being an American, but makes almost a half of millions a year and donates alot of that to numerous anti-American causes like her racist Church. You don''''t even have a clue!

- I don''t know what Obama really believes, except for what "slips" out. I think he says "whatever he thinks people want to believe" depending on who it is he is talking to. WHAT DOES OBAMA REALLY BELIEVE?

- I''m fed up with Washington politicians who will promise everything. Suddenly, if they get elected, it''s always someone else''s fault that they break promises.
No politician should be allowed in Washington for more then 8 years.
Lobbyists run Washington and it takes a tragedy for Washington to care about Americans. For evidence, just look at all the pork that gets passed. - Reply to this comment
- It is becoming more and more apparent the disdain Obama and his wife have for their country and their fellow Americans...whom he wants to lead.
How many more "misspoken" words must be heard before people get the message... They don''t think much of us.

- OBAMA CHURCH, WRIGHT AND JIMMY CARTER PRO HAMAS
Ali Abunimah, in which Abumimah recounts his close past working relationship with Obama prior to the presidential campaign and how Abunimah believes Obama is merely giving lip service to the Jewish community to get elected, and that once in office he will work for the Palestinian cause. Abunimah lists himself and is mentioned in subsequent Obama articles in the mainstream press merely as a %u201CPalestinian activist.%u201D Abunimah insists that Obama will %u201Ccome around%u201D once elected.
But Ali Abunimah is more than just some %u201CPalestinian activist%u201D based in Chicago, the same location as Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ. He is, in fact, one of the founders of the fiercely anti-Semitic ISM Arab group Al Awda, the Palestine Right of Return Coalition. Abunimah is a high level international leader of the ISM for the Arabs who travels extensively between Chicago, Europe and Ramallah.

- OBAMA, WRIGHT and JIMMY CARTER SYMPATHIZE WITH HAMAS
If Barack Obama didn%u2019t know about Abunimah%u2019s writings (and Abunimah says he did), the same as his claims of being unaware of Reverend Wright%u2019s remarks after 20 years, then Obama is not competent to be our President. Abunimah likes to lie and claim Al Awda has nothing to do with the ISM or Electronic Intifada, though plenty of evidence exists on the website the homepage at www.StoptheISM.com showing the contrary.
But Obama%u2019s association with the ISM through his church and lobbying in Chicago goes even deeper than just his past links to Al Awda and Ali Abunimah. His pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, are both equally involved with the ISM. - Reply to this comment

- The truth is a bitter pill to swallow. The McCain camp can''t beat back reality or daylight by having "spokes-persons" try to spin attack reality. The CBS slow news day "bitter" slug was a flop, because people are bitter. Only elitest would say that it is elitist to speak the truth.

- Hillarys problem is that voters know how easily the Clintons lie; and that both Hillary and Bill would lie on a stack of bibles.
Misspeaking is one thing, repeating something over and over makes it a FLAT LIE !!
The Clintons simply cannot help themselves; they tell a big lie when a small lie will do. And they tell a small lie when the truth will do. After careful training from Bill, Hillary can lie out of both sides of her mouth at the same time even when there''s no particular reason to.
Lets face it, it takes a bare faced liar to confuse a hug from a little girl in Bosnia with the terror of running from sniper bullets.
If you are inclined to overlook Clinton lies just because Hillary is your favorite for nomination then just look at the trouble the country is in because of the lies of President Bush: one million Iraqis and over 4000 American servicemen dead; that%u2019s right DEAD, all because of lies. So you see, the lies of a President really do matter and God help America if the world famous misspeaking Clintons get elected. - Reply to this comment
- Hillary is the Stupid one, telling all you supporters she dodged sniper fire, and You all believed her..what a smack in the face for the military...

- THER IS A PATTERN HERE ABOUT WHAT OBAMA THINKS OF RURAL VOTERS.IT ALL GOES BACK TO HIS CHURCHES HATRED AND RACISM. HIS WIFE SAYING SHE WAS PROUD OF HER COUNTRY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HER ADULT LIFE. HOW OBAMA PLAYS THE RACE CARD WHEN THINGS GO BAD FOR HIM. NOW RURAL AMERICANS ARE BITTER AND HOLD ONTO GUNS, RELIGION,AND IMMIGRATION TO EXPRESS THEIR BITTERNESS. I WOULD NOT TRUST OBAMA NOW AT ALL. HE HAS KILLED WHAT CONFIDENCE I EVER HAD IN HIM.I AM A DEMOCRAT AND IF OBAMA GETS THE NOMINATION NO WAY WOULD I VOTE FOR HIM.I WOULD RATHER VOTE FOR MCCAIN THAN OBAMA BECAUSE OF HIS STATEMENTS ABOUT RURAL AMERICA. OBAMA HAS DROVE THE FINAL NAIL ON HIS CAMPAIGHN AND HE WILL LOSE.

- Sen. Clinton looks desperate, petty and pathetic and at this point is destroying Democratic chances in the Fall to the point where it won''t matter which Democrat wins, they will now have an unnecessary tougher time against Sen. McCain that didn''t exist before the dirt, mud and slander campaign or as Sen. Clinton''''s calls it, "throw the kitchen sink" strategy! This is the reason the Republicans sucked it up and ended their campaign early, to avoid what the Democrats are doing now, destroying their chances! At this point if Sen. Obama wiped his azz with non Union toilet paper, Sen. Clinton would make it a campaign issue! If Sen. Clinton is going to stay in the campaign to the bitter end, its time to clean it up and stick to meaningful issues Voters care about.

- I am angry that gas to fill my car is $3.50/gallon...
I am frustrated that fuel to heat my home is up to $3.65/gallon...
I am angry that medical insurance for my husband and myself has increased $120/month while our co-pays for drugs and doctors have increased...
I am angry that food prices increase weekly...
I am angry that seniors have to dip into their emergency funds to pay for necessities: heat/food/medical care...
I am BITTER that the "American Dream" will not be there for my children...I am BITTER every time I read of another young soldier killed in a pointless war...
I am BITTER at the trillions wasted on this pointless war which would be better spent on our own people by creating jobs, providing health care,
improving education--which has for years fallen short...
I am BITTER that the burden of this ill conceived war will be on the backs of my grandchildren.

- I want to know RIGHT NOW what BOTH Democratic candidates intend to do regarding investigating and prosecuting the Bush administration for all crimes it committed.
Bush has shown no mercy to those he''s allowed to go to the death chamber. Likewise, he deserves no mercy.
I want to know RIGHT NOW what both candidates intend to do. Though I long ago chose a cadidate, this issue may be the single issue that makes me rethink my choise.
I want to know RIGHT NOW!! - Reply to this comment
