I wouldn''t worry about Obama vrs McCain. When Obama has time to concentrate on MCain, the poor old guy is going to be steamrolled so bad he won''t even know what hit him.

Predicted the McCain rise 10 months ago. This will be a very tight contest. I know it''s odd, and I''ve said this before, but a lot of independents think McCain might achieve a drawdown faster than the other two, simply because he would have a better tactical understanding. Plus he has a proven record of reaching across the aisle. I would personally like to see the Republicans take a back seat to a progressive Dem for the next four years, but a President McCain would not break my heart, either. I congratulate the Republicans for rejecting these idiot voices like O''Reilly and Limbaugh and choosing someone with some broader appeal for a change.

As a independent I really like the energy of Obama, but if he lost I don''t think I could vote for Clinton.

I have no doubt that the same stupid voters of this country that reelected Bush will put another stupid out-of-touch president in office. I have lost all faith in the election process.

SOME may be ready for Obama as POTUS. Unfortunately, NOT ENOUGH to allow HIM to win the White House. Many Dems will go with McCain & are already doing so. The numbers for McCain will only grow when Obama wins the nomination. Clinton/Obama is the Dems only shot in 2008. Otherwise, welcome to the Democratic Hall of Shame: Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, Obama.

Nothing suprising here since Willie married Ronnie and the democratic contenders are as full of false promises as the republicans. Prediction McCain wins in November and America because of its lack of statesmen from all major parties loses again.

It''s no surprise.

After the divide and conquer and slash and burn techniques being used, it is no wonder.

This is the way Republicans ALWAYS win, by evoking fears and capitalizing. In this case, the Repubs don;t even have to do anything. Racism and Sexism once started fuels itself.

If you believe THIS poll---

I have a used HUMVEE I''d like to sell you.

It has no armor plating,
and the seats are only slightly stained deep DARK red.

The Publish button has now been enabled. It was more than %u201Ctemporarily%u201D disabled for rather obvious reasons.
