metroduck75,

The democratics are not stupid. 98% of the GOP supporters are the stupid ones. They are shooting themselves in the foot by getting caught in the superficial (gay marriages, race, gender, etc.). Ever candidate the democrats have provide in the 2000s have been far superior than any of the GOP candidates. If the majority (which wasn''t the case in the 2000 election though) decide to vote against their own interests, they are the idiots.

I really hope Clinton or Obama do not win this election. Bush and Co have created a economic quagmire. I''d rather a GOP candidate get into office, so at least they''ll be blamed for the coming catastrophe. McCain admitted he was an idiot (he said it about economics, but I don''t think he is too bright overall in general). Economics will be the biggest issue in the coming decade. That''s a very wise move.

Every 4 years, Dem Party is stupid enough to push someone who would lose.

This year is no difference, they are pushing for Obama.

Think he could actually change the Electoral Map??

Do the math, you will know how naive those political pundits are.

Good idea Barack.
In the future that''s how it should be. If the American public likes you they will give you money. Wish this was the case when George Bush was running then my kids would not have to memorize and say his name twice when learning the names of the presidents of the United States.

Still trust this guy?

"Obama didn''t always feel this way. Last March, Obama spokesman Bill Burton said the candidate would "aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election." Obama also told the Midwest Democracy Network, in a questionnaire, that he would participate in the system, writing that he had proposed a system in which "both major party candidates...agree on a fundraising truce, return excess money from donors, and stay within the public financing system for the general election."
