Sorry, cfin. Only one check per name caller, besides, 25 x 1000 is 25,000 dollars and you are barred by law of giving more than 2,000 dollars to a candidate. - Reply to this comment
- Fact of the matter is, many of the tradiional Democrats do not like the CLintons'' high handed style...Carter is one of them.

- Bill just needs to have an intimidating conversation with Carter to get his endorsement. Carter never had much of a backbone.

- Not really all that surprising.
It is no surprise that Carter did not always approve of Bill CLinton while BIll was in office....and Carter often played a wild card and was viewed by the CLintons as a loose cannon regarding international diplomacy. - Reply to this comment

- Some of the Wright''s comments are inexcusable and inappropriate and should be condemned, but in calling him "unpatriotic," let us not forget that this is a man who gave up six of the most productive years of his life to serve his country. How many of Wright''s detractors, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O''Reilly to name but a few, volunteered for service, and did so under the often tumultuous circumstances of a newly integrated armed forces and a society in the midst of a civil rights struggle? Not many. While words do count, so do actions. Let us not forget that, for whatever Rev. Wright may have said over the last 30 years, he has demonstrated his patriotism". IF THE ABOVE ARTICLE DOES NOT GIVE YOU CAUSE TO QUESTION THE VERACITY OF THE ATTACK MACHINATIONS PERPETRATED AGAINST REV. WRIGHT AND SEN. OBAMA THAN PERHAPS YOUR PATRIOTISM SHOULD BE QUESTIONED. - Since these comments became public we have heard criticisms, condemnations, denouncements and rejections of his comments and him. We''ve seen on television, in a seemingly endless loop, sound bites of a select few of Rev. Wright''s many sermons." - After leaving the service of his country, the young African-American finished his final year of college, entered the seminary, was ordained as a minister, and eventually became pastor of a large church in one of America''s biggest cities. This man is REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT the retiring pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, who has been in the news for comments he made over the last three decades." - Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, both five years younger than the African-American youth, used their student deferments to stay in college until 1968. Both then avoided going on active duty through family connections. Who is the real patriot? The young man who interrupted his studies to serve his country for six years or our three political leaders who beat the system? Are the patriots the people who actually sacrifice something or those who merely talk about their love of the country? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/chi-oped0404wrightapr03,0,225570.story)

- "In 1961, a young African-American man, after hearing President John F. Kennedy''s challenge to, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country," gave up his student deferment, left college in Virginia and voluntarily joined the Marines. In 1963, this man, having completed his two years of service in the Marines, volunteered again to become a Navy corpsman. The man did so well in corpsman school that he was the valedictorian and became a cardiopulmonary technician. Not surprisingly, he was assigned to the Navy''s premier medical facility, Bethesda Naval Hospital, as a member of the commander in chief''s medical team, and helped care for President Lyndon B. Johnson after his 1966 surgery. For his service on the team, which he left in 1967, the White House awarded him three letters of commendation. What is even more remarkable is that this man entered the Marines and Navy not many years after the two branches began to become integrated. While this young man was serving six years on active duty, Vice President *** Cheney, who was born the same year as the Marine/sailor, received five deferments, four for being an undergraduate and graduate student and one for being a prospective father. Who is the young African American man? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/chi-oped0404wrightapr03,0,225570.story)

- Forgot McGovern and Geraldine Ferraro. It''s suffice to say McGovern was a good and decent man like Humphrey and Carter. As far as Geraldine Ferraro goes, well Mom always said if you cannot say something nice then don''t say anything at all.

- awithoff,
Get real! Dukakis couldn''t carry Obama''s briefcase. Obama is the best Democratic candidate since FDR. Truman was so-so; JFK was above so-so; Johnson (Mother always said if you don''t have anything nice to say then don''t say anything at all)RFK was above so-so; Humphrey was a good and decent man; Carter(see Humphrey); Dukakis couldn''t hold Obama''s briefcase; Clinton was above so-so; Gore, Lieberman, Kerry and Edwards all punching bags for Karl Rove; Obama will hand the likes of Karl Rove his *** if Karl Rove dares to take on the Obama shuffle. - Reply to this comment

- Republicans are sad; an angry tragedian%u2026the worst America has to offer%u2026.
We have yet to endure the tactical and strategic blunder that the war in Iraq really is.
I know! Why don''t we bomb other countries that have schools, water, power, and police for their people? We can quickly lower the population, while creating enemies for our industrial military complex?
How''s that sound Republicans?
Bush Sees "Defining Moment" In Iraq
He saw WMD, Al Qaeda; mobile weapons labs, terrorist training facilities, missiles that could reach New York, 45-minute ready chemical weapons, none of which were there.
What he will see is his legacy and his Parties demise, but at least I got my $600 %u201Ctax-rebate%u201D check from China!!
You wanna get some?....lets go.........other wise go sit in the corner with your talking point spewing fallacy of a constituency..... - Reply to this comment
- The GOP will be HURTING in the next elections!!!!
The GOP/Republican tools on these forums wouldn''t dare talk about Republicans and their failed policies. Instead they help themselves feel better about blind support for the Republicans, by attacking Democrats trying to fan the flames of dissent within the DNC.
Well now I know, a vote for a Republican is literally a vote for ignorance, and misguided spending in an unnecessary war in Iraq, which causes more hate........
Democrats ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
Obama is an amazing speaker! I have never heard any politician speak so candidly and clearly about so many topics, much less the state of racism in America. I''d love to see a Republican address this subject in such a direct and intelligent way.
MAJOR APLAUSE FOR BARRAK OBAMA!!
I%u2019m proud to be a part of such a historic election. We can have our first woman or African-American President!!! This country has some healing to do and Republicans just GET IN THE WAY.
This election will be historic, and it%u2019s not about Hillary versus Obama, it''s about Democrat versus Republican.
Hillary or Obama, or both. Go Democrats! - Reply to this comment
