Compared to the disaster of Bush Jr, Jimmy Carter is a god! I like Jimmy and still think he is terribly under-rated. That said, compared to the mongoloid idiot we have in the White House now, Bozo the Clown is a god.

Before Bush came along, it was a simple given in American politics that Carter was considered the worst President in US history. Of course, all it took was "W" to pi*ss off a few people and Democrats became all so grateful that the mantle of "worst" got passed onto a member of the other party. Look guys, just because Bush may have done even worse does not mathematically(a tough concept for liberals; math) make Carter some kind of genius or saint. Carter was categorically horrendous. He destroyed this country, both from a economic perspective as well as a foreign policy one. There are (check Amazon, guys) whole books about Carter as the "worst" of all time. To call this guy a "bozo" is to insult all circus clowns. Carter wasn''''t simply bad. He was incompetent. He was sneaky. He was pure f*kkkking evil.

So Jimmy Carter has lust in his heart for Barack Obama? Well, God Bless him! Carter''s a great guy who seems to care about people.

However, he was a very poor president & wasn''t able to win a second term. (Thank God!) People fell in love with Carter''s smile, his down home style & discounted the fact that he lacked experience. Obama has even LESS leadership experience. Maybe this is birds of a feather, flocking together? Both men seem overwhelmed when with faced with a barrage of problems. Hillary seems INVIGORATED when things get hot. I admire her fight & intelligence!

Sure, I am disappointed that Carter is going to throw his support at Obama, but it does NOT shake my strong belief that Hillary Clinton would be the BEST DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE!

Carter has had his controversies, so maybe this could actually BOOST Clinton. If Barack wins the presidency, maybe we could go back to the even/odd gas rationing like the Carter days? Hillary will cut the billions in corporate welfare to the oil industry! All I can say is AMEN & VOTE CLINTON!

I hold Jimmy Carter in the highest esteem, right up there with Billy Graham. Mr Carter is one the most intelligent people in America and always speaks with a level head. I guess thats why this announcement stings so bad.

I swear I was just thinking the same thing. I''m surprised at former President Carter. I thought he would have shown better judgement.

I will be disappointed if Carter votes for Obama. I wish Democrats would recognize that this election is ours to lose by offering the American people a candidate who is too controversial. We know Hillary...we are aware of her warts as well as her good points, but we don''t know Obama...I don''t trust smooth-talking demagogues who can bamboozle a crowd in five minutes. Let Obama earn the White House with continued work in the Senate until he has finished a term or two. By then, we will have had a history with him and we will have found out if his skeletons could throw the election. All candidates have skeletons but some are election killers.

Nothing funny about a baby getting torn apart and being made to endure it with out ANY anesthesia,....ZILCH! Let''s see you go through a major operation and see how you like it........If a candidate just doesn''t have the Constitutional backbone to stick up for the rights of an American child, in the womb or not,.......they are in FACT ideologically related to Herr Joseph Mengele. I don''t give him the honor of "Doctor" either.......The nazis of today don''t wear swastikas on their arms anymore. They wear them in their HEARTS!

Tracy Morgan,

C''mon, PLEASE allow Obama''s mother to rest in peace. Your comments and implications are not appropriate in the debate about which candidate--not their family members--is the best choice to lead America during this critical stage in our history. Our economy is in need of a flu shot and we are at war in two hot-spots around the world, so please leave Obama''s mother out of this.

To kansas1946. So I am assuming based on your comment that you are in agreement that Rev. Wright had the GOD giving right to question policies he felt were in error and what he viewed as actions against the innocent? Let''s be fair and let''s be real. Do not use what Rev. Wright said as an excuse for prejudice. In other words you may feel that by attacking Wright you have an excuse to not want to support Obama or at least not want to see him in a positive light. That is what is at play in the minds of many. Our country has progressed so little, but yet I have hope. If you harbor prejudice it is time to let it go.

McCain has a few skeletons in his closet that have not come out. McCain is not as clean as some people think he is. There are even different accounts of the time he spent as a POW.

Can you please post those I would love to read them. Thanks

Patriotism has nothing to do with not criticizing your country. In fact, it would be unpatriotic not to criticize it if you feel it is on the wrong track and not adhering to the principles of the constitution. If law makers are not following the constitution, then staying silent because you can''t criticize those policies, that is nationalism, not patriotism. Nazi''s were nationalists. My country, right or wrong.
I love my country too much not to raise holy cain if a president is trashing the constitution or not upholding it.
