Again, we need a competent president. Not some fake. I can''''t put it any simpler than that.

Hillary certainly can beat McCain, cross over republicans will not vote for a liberal like Obama, nor will the people who can see how fake he is.

Hillary is not competent. She can''t even run her campaign correctly. Lots of infighting and non paying of bills, then she lied about her credentials. Finally supposed evidence is surfacing that she was fired during the Watergate scandal for lying and hiding documents.

But besides that, Independents presently for Obama and cross over Republicans for Obama will not vote for Hillary. They will either not vote, or vote for Obama. Guess it won''t get clearer than if she gets the nomination, then loses--you will finally get the point.

Your feelings and beliefs are laudable as they pertain to your choice--but they do not reflect how the rest of us feel or think about Hillary Clinton. She really is hated by a lot of people you know. Of all the candidates and polls, Hillary consistently finishes last for:

1. HOnesty
2. Likeability
3. Picked as choice by cross over Republicans
4.Picked as choice by Independents

About the only polls she comes out ahead in is who is perceived as the candidate considered the most divisive.

They''''re there, Hungry, look under election center. Just go to CNN.com.

I looked - there are NO popular vote results on cnn''s website that I can find.

Why don''t you just post the link? You''re telling me to add them up, obviously you know where they are.

the most interesting part of Obama''s rage against anything white in his books.... is probably psychologically, it stems from an ABSENT BLACK father.

So, it should be entitled, "Sins of My Father", instead of dreams.

Obama has a warped sense of responsibility and anger against people who care of him, rather than the people who let him down.

I''ve said it before, I''ll say it again. The SOB needs therapy.

Big Time!

b-easy........I agree. A lot of this is about race cloaked as other things. There are a lot of racists who would never vote for a Black person or any minority for that matter.

As you can see by many of the posts here that people still have a lot of racist hang-ups.

It makes me wonder if Rev. Wright''''s vision of America was accurate.

Hungry, Obama has shot himself in the foot on all the occasions I''''ve just listed. Yet you don''''t see that. You''''re ignoring it.

Posted by RowdyTexan2 at 10:48 AM : Apr 03, 2008

He lied about being above politics as usual...he''s not!

***** Speculation on your part - I don''t see it.

He lied and distorted and twisted people''s words when he played the race card.

***** The race card is being played AGAINST him - not BY him. He has ALWAYS tried to keep the race focused on the issues, and has NEVER made it about race. Now when Bill and Hillary shot themselves in the foot with their racist comments in SC, he didn''t come to their defense - but why should he?

He lied about his association with Rezko.

***** He bought property from Rezko''s wife - a small strip of land. He later called it a bone headed idea because of the perception of impropriety. What has Rezko been convicted for again?

He lied about knowing the ideology of his pastor of 20 years.

***** Now you''re telling everyone, what Obama knows and doesn''t know? And who''s playing the race card -- AGAIN?

He lied about his legislatie prowess.

****?????

Not only that he is notorious for going to meetings stealing other people''''s ideas for bills and presenting them as his own. That''''s lying.

***** Notorious? To who? Hillary?

The biggest problem with Democrats is that you can think no further than your own party. You think people will vote for Hillary if she is chosen, because this year is an "anyone except a Republican year" YOu base this on Bush and the horrible war in Iraq. What you fail to see or accept is that the people who will swing this vote to the GOP or the Dems are NOT Dems. They don''t see things like you do.
When you state that if Obama goes against McCAin, he will lose--try to understand that this may upset the Democrats more than it does the Independents.
We are more of the "anyone except Hillary " group. So if the contest ends up being McCain vs Obama, most are okay with either one. Just not with HIllary.

What does this mean? In a head to head, McCain would get a large majority of the Independent votes. This has already been shown over the Wright flap. When voters left Obama, they did not go to Hillary--in fact, she lost votes. They went to McCain. If it comes down to Hillary and McCain, the only way the Dems will not lose is if they can swing enough Independents to vote with them and if they can woo back the Obama Dems they alienated. Good luck with that. They will not sell Hillary to Independents. It''s a lot deeper than the fact she is a woman.

Rowdy,

Forget the media, if he''s lying why don''t you report it by specifying what the lie or lies are. Then people can either agree or refute what you say. All you''re doing is engaging in name-calling without supporting your contentions with any facts. In other words, your usual hysterical venom.

This business of trying to put people in a box to try to define them is out of hand.

Fulbright spoke in support of segregation in order to get eleceted in 1950s Arkansas. He also was the greatest Chairman the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has ever and will ever see. His book, "The Arrogance of Power" is a handbook of everything that''s been wrong with American foriegn policy over the past 50 years, what''s gone wrong, and how we an make the world respect rather than hate America again.

Obama isn''t defined by Reverand Wright. He''s defined by the message that he''s giving to the American people himself.

Because RealClearPolitics doesn''''t have vote count listed state by state, so I could add them up myself.

I can''t even find the popular vote on CNN''s website!! And that''s using google''s search!!

What the hell good is trying to add up votes, if you can''t find the votes to add up!!

For God''s sake---can''t we just vote for who we want to without everybody feeling "hurt" and "betrayed"? Every legal voter should be able to vote for the candidate of their choice. If you get the vote because of loyalty, or whatever reason---GREAT. But if you don''t, stop trying to guilt people into voting for you when they obviously don''t want to. These are the same people who, when guilt doesn''t work, will strong-arm you into doing what they want by any means necessary.

Exactly concorde. And the thing is, the more whining and complaining that she does, the more people she is turning off.

After Bill''s backstage tirade the other day, THE ACTUAL SUPER DELEGATE''S THEMSELVES went and told the media about it. Apparently, they were very, very put off by his red faced tirade.

How well does that sit with the rest of the super delegates? Vote for Hillary of be MF''d up and down by Bill!

I can hear the stampede now.

Nope. YOu are in denial. I already stated Hillary might pull an upset and stated how that could occur, but honestly, I believe the best thing for the Dem party is for Obama to get the nomination. Then the best thing for America is for him to get elected. Not sure he would survive being our POTUS, but it would still be good to know that we can transcend our hangups about race as a country. I believe a lot of this is about race, cloaked as something else.

The bottom line is, Hillary is in last place--and through some logic known only to her supporters, last place means she has the best chance of beating McCain.
Let''s see...would her platform be experience? Not with McCAin. Would it be integrity? No way.
Would it be that she is not a Republican? She might try that, and then they''d trot out her voting record for the past 7 years. And when she got really going--they''d just keep playing her lies within lies about the Bosnia trip, then do spoofs of her waking up at 3 am and answering the phone only to find it was a bill collector. She would lose against McCAin.

If Obama said he pooped green today, they would present it as the best news in TOWN!
